Mateo's Ice Cream & Fruit Bars🍦

If you like homemade style ice cream, then this is the place for you. Ample selection of ice creams, and very tasty. Aside from ice creams, they also have a vast selections of ice cream bars, cut fruit and dozens of other tasty treats. Expect to stand in line, this location is very popular. The only reason I gave it four stars is because the parking situation can bad during peak hours. However, the staff is very friendly and prompt. I highly recommend this place for people who love ice cream.

Mateo's juices are really good. On this morning, I ordered a breakfast wrap with an orange juice. It also comes with a side of fruit. I frequently visit all four of their locations and the quality is consistent. They have a variety of fruit bars that are also worth trying. This location is in a small plaza so parking can be difficult at times. Restroom available.

The shop was clean and well organized. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. I was in awe at the variety of ice cream flavors. I order the tuna sandwich combination plate. It was fresh and delicious. I was happy with my food, wholesome fresh and tasty. I certainly recommend this place.

I love going to Mateo’s every time i visit California. You can never go wrong with a turkey sandwich combo or a natural smoothie. Don’t forget about the ice cream and popsicles.

Mateo’s bursts with colors as much as they burst with flavors and selections of treats. It a whole vibe in here and they must be used to people coming in to oooo and awwww at their selection. The presentation of their gelatos and popsicle bars makes you feel like a kid in a candy shop, and it’s placed at a low eye level so kids can get a good look at the selection. They have treats for everyone! I was in the mood for something nostalgic so I chose a scoop of eggnog in a cop. My toddler got a watermelon popsicle and my friend picked their coffee ice cream. You can go all out and get a cone or cup lined with chocolate and sprinkles, topped with whipped cream, cherries and nuts. Or you could go the opposite way and order a fresh green juice and pick up sliced watermelon or mangos. Adorable Mateo painted chairs and tables line the windows. The place gets crowded at times but it’s worth the wait. There’s some parking in the strip mall out front or along Pico. The ice cream melts wonderfully, it stays cold for a long time too. The watermelon popsicle melted a little chunky but the flavor was all the way there and I would get it again.

Came here for the fresh juice. Has a cute charming nostalgic atmosphere. Friendly staff and small parking lot

Passed wiff my ladie ...for a quick snack.... Good service clean But most importantly the ice cream that we ate was delicious the price was fair it was a good experience overall
