They did an amazing job on a leather repair so we are back with another. They do excellent repairs. There is a beautiful display of investment quality leather goods that are certain to last and retsin their usefulness.

George fixed my briefcase handle. Original design was flawed, it would come off on one side all the time. It was quite annoying. When it broke completely the last time, I took it to Georgio’s. He fixed it way better than it was originally, it looks like a work of art with the chrome attachments, and it is way more sturdy. Also, his shop is really amazing, it is worth dropping by just check it out.

I brought my leather card holder to Georgio's after it accidentally went through the dryer. After examining it, they confidently told me they could make it "look like new." That was a bold claim, but based on that assurance, I decided to have them restore it. When I returned a week later, I was extremely disappointed. The wallet was warped, stiff, and sticky. It looked as though it had been saturated with leather conditioner and left to dry without being properly worked into the leather or buffed. The finish felt tacky, the wallet had not been reshaped, and the edges—which also needed restoration—were left untouched. I pointed out these issues, but instead of addressing my concerns, I was met with, "Well, what were you expecting?" I explained that I expected something significantly better, especially after being told it would look like new. Rather than offering to correct the problems, the response was simply, "Sorry to disappoint you." Based on my experience, both the workmanship and customer service were extremely disappointing. Frankly, I wouldn't trust this shop to sew a button. I cannot recommend them. What makes this even more frustrating is that I ultimately achieved a much better result myself using products I already had at home: leather conditioner intended for car interiors, black shoe polish, edge paint, and even a hammer to carefully reshape the leather. My DIY restoration produced a noticeably better result than what I received back from the shop. I've included comparison photos showing the condition of the wallet when I received it from Georgio's alongside the results after my own restoration. I'll let the photos speak for themselves.
