Rodness' Martial Arts Center

Rodness' Martial Arts is a truly hidden gem in Davis! I take the Muay Thai classes, and they are the perfect mix of an exceptionally challenging workout and an all-around really fun time, honestly the best cardio you can get. The community here is fantastic; it’s a great group of people, and there are always plenty of smiles and laughs to go around. Steve Rodness is an extremely well-rounded coach in all fighting styles. Thanks to his coaching, I feel like I'm growing at an exceptionally fast pace and my confidence has skyrocketed. I can’t recommend this place enough to anyone looking to get into martial arts, whether you're a beginner or looking to push your training to the next level.

My kid plays soccer and martial arts dovetails well with it. Mr. R is a great coach/mentor. He is the only instructor snd so everyone gets his expert guidance and experience. Hard work, perserverance and respect are important at this studio.I cant recommend it enough. We have only been going a few months, but I am always impressed as I watch the lessons.

Our son’s experience at Master Steve Rodness’s Martial Arts has been truly outstanding. What began as Taekwondo training has evolved into something much more meaningful. Mr. Rodness and his team go far beyond teaching martial arts - they instill discipline, respect, confidence, and resilience. The growth we’ve seen in our son, both on and off the mat, has been remarkable. If you’re looking for a program that develops not just physical skills but strong character, this is the place. Highly recommended!

This is my daughter’s first year in martial arts, and she loves it. Mr. Rodness is patient with the kids and clear with instruction. The class not only teaches taekwondo, but respect and resilience. My daughter is getting the skills more confidence to boot

Rodness’ Martial Arts center is one of the best extracurricular activity I could have found for my kids. Mr. Rodness is a wonderful instructor, patient and kind with my 3 and 4 year old. He does a great job at teaching kids this young and really helps them with basics and fundamentals that will carry onto the next classes. My kids truly look forward to karate every day and I don’t think that would be true if they didn’t like their teacher. Highly recommend Rodness’s martial arts!
