North-West College - West Covina

I had a great experience in the Surgical Technology program at North-West College in West Covina. Logan Reese, our Program Director and lab instructor, and Martin Mendiaz, our Clinical Coordinator and instructor, played a huge part in preparing us for the operating room. They pushed us to develop our practical skills, helped build our confidence, and made sure we were prepared for what would actually be expected of us during clinicals. I’m very grateful for everything I learned throughout the program and for the time and effort they put into helping us become prepared surgical technologists. Thank you Logan and Martin!

I am incredibly grateful for the support and education I received throughout the VN program. Shout out to, Professor K, Jehad, Miss Alma, Miss Jubeth, Mr Andy, Mr June, Miss Loida, Miss Haya, just to mention a few, and the entire non academic staffs, instructors were knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to help us succeed. Their dedication and encouragement gave me the confidence to keep pushing forward, even when the program was challenging. The NCLEX preparation was excellent and truly prepared me for the exam—I was able to pass my NCLEX-PN. The theory classes and clinical experiences helped me develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to begin my nursing career. Thank you to all the faculty and staff for investing in your students and helping us achieve our goals. I highly recommend this program to anyone pursuing a career in nursing! I’M SURE COMING BACK TO FURTHER!!!

Just finished inquiring at North-West College in Covina, and I have to say they were extremely accommodating. Samuel from Career Services did an excellent job answering all of my academic questions, and Veronica from the Financial Aid department clearly explained the overall cost and my available options. What stood out most was how transparent and supportive they were, it genuinely felt like their priority was helping students succeed, not price-gouging like other colleges I’ve looked into. A special thank you to Director Marie for personally making me feel welcome. She left me looking forward to attending and experiencing the beautiful North-West College facility.

The learning atmosphere and instructor are nothing short of amazing. Mr. Chavez is a very well informed and knowledgeable teacher. I am looking forward to learning more from him to further improve my understanding of the field I want to work in.
