Alexander Romios

Today I came in with the goal of getting a large catering for over 30 people. 30 double doubles and 30 fries. The staff were so helpful and made sure that my order was prepared and packaged on time. Managers Israel and Pablo were very helpful in asking how I’d like it packaged and making sure that it was ready on time. The cooks Joy and Ramiro did a great job in preparing everything and my team was very happy with their food. Couldn’t be more happy with the service today! Great job and thank you guys!!!!

Everything thing was great except Tamara the cashier. When taking our order didn’t make eye contact with me at all as I was giving my order didn’t even great me. She just greated my boyfriend and I said thank you and she just moved on to the next person in line. That was really rude.

The staff are awesome! This spot is usually always packed especially with the drive thru. I recommend parking by the WSS. It’s always clean and so are their restrooms. Finding a seat is usually not that difficult it’s just a wait. A mako of the time else walk in we wait in line no more than ten minutes and after a few minutes of ordering our food we find a table.

Great burgers. Customize it to your liking. Live the fact that ingredients are always fresh. The fries aren’t the best but they are descent. I definitely recommend this burger spot.

Pretty good. Line wasn’t too long on a Tuesday afternoon. Ordered 4 pup patties with my order, however when I got home, I noticed they weren’t unsalted and they even had some grilled onion on them!! So please if you order pup patties, please make sure to check for onion on them as it’s dangerous for dogs.

They let pet dogs inside and on a separate occasion a few months later my food was burnt, I ate outside that time and a solicitor approached my family while eating. Needs better management. Went to the Bell location last night and the food + service was spot on. The service at this location is not what I expect when eating at In N Out.

Ridiculously long wait time. The parking is terrible but since is a shopping center you can just park away and walk there if you don’t mind. Super long lines inside and out in drive thru. I personally would not recommend if you don’t have at least 20-30 minutes of to wait for your food.

One of my favorite burger places! 🍔 The burgers are always delicious, and the sauce is amazing. It can get pretty busy sometimes, but it’s definitely worth the wait. In-N-Out will always be one of my favorites. Highly recommended!

First time trying In-N-Out, parking is a bit difficult but we found public parking nearby. Burgers are good but I honestly cannot say it’s more special than others.

I’ve loved In n Out all my life. I ordered Animal Style Fries from this location and received a really disappointing order. Basically no grilled onions on it. Can we please just do better next time?

Economical and good value for the price. The food is fresh and tasty. The buns are lightly toasted, and the patties are juicy and full of flavor. The staff are enthusiastic and friendly.

Amazing experience at In-N-Out Burger! The food was fresh, tasty, and exactly what you want from a classic California burger experience. The quality for the price is honestly incredible — one of the best value spots I’ve tried in LA. A special thank you to Leo, who was of great assistance and made the experience even better with his friendly attitude and helpful service. Fast service, great atmosphere, and excellent value for money. Definitely a place worth visiting again! Advice for the perfect – tables could be cleaned more regularly so our clothes can b cleaner. 🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁Important Part Also, i d like to share this that amazed me ! All the staff are very kind and always smiling… how do you manage this ? Congrats to the staff and the HR department and managers making the staff happy! There is also more… i have been in this place lunch and dinner the past few days , i could sit and watch as if it is a movie the way these ppl work, u see i am in hospitality my entire life and traveled 53 countries many multiple times. So yesterday, thursday 14th May 2026, i went in for lunch at about 15:30 got my lunch and was served by this gorgeous young lady with a beautiful smile i believe her name was Sophie, amazing energy, so i also worked late and went in for a take out at 22:30 and Sophie was at the cashier this time taking orders unstoppable with her high energy this amazing smile looking the customer in the eyes, not tired, not fed up! Just wow ! So amazing to watch! I heard of this place by a friend and a legend of hospitality business Will Guindara, the man behind series the bear and the book Unreasonable Hospitality, for me i would love to bring this concept to Greece. Congrats ! Markos Paterakis markos_polomint

I’ve been to this In-N-Out a few times, and it’s always been consistent. The burgers are fresh, the fries come out hot, and the staff is friendly even when it’s busy. The line can get long, but it usually moves pretty fast, and the food is worth the wait. Everything was made correctly, and the restaurant was clean. I’d definitely keep coming back whenever I’m in the area.

Unfortunately, my experience today was disappointing. I ordered: • 2 hamburgers • 1 cheeseburger • 1 Double-Double • Fries When I received my order, I noticed that the cheeseburger was missing and all the burgers were without cheese. I told the employee who handed me the order. He asked to see my receipt, which I showed him, and said «okay.» He then checked with the cook and came back asking to see the receipt again to confirm which burger was supposed to have cheese. They took one of the burgers from the tray and gave it to the cook. The cook opened the already-made burger, added a slice of cheese, closed it, and handed it back without reheating it. The cheese was completely cold and not melted at all. I understand that mistakes can happen, but the way this was handled was not professional and not what I expect from In-N-Out. I would have preferred a freshly made burger instead of adding cold cheese to an already prepared one. Today 1:15 am

Heard from my son it was a great chain and had just finished reading the impressive history & decided to try it out. It’s impressive: polite, welcoming and neatly uniformed professional staff (& many of them). Food was well portioned, moderately priced and milkshake was made with real ice cream. We are not «fast food» people, but would eat there again! Fun experience, especially knowing the history.

This is the first In-N-Out I’ve been to that had someone actively wiping down tables and when we sat down he asked what our number was (as well as tables around us) and brought us our food! Thanks Ethan! I don’t mind standing there and getting my food, but it was super unexpected and nice of him to bring everyone’s food to them. He also memorized everyone’s number after hearing it once. When ordering the machine didn’t work and the girl had to put my order in again on the computer terminal next to hers which was a little annoying, but oh well. It wasn’t super busy so it was okay. Our food came pretty quickly and it was fresh and hot like In-N-Out is known for. The kids loved their grilled cheeses, fries and the Neapolitan shake we shared.

Animal Style double double burger is still decent but the quality of the fries here went downhill from what I remember back when I used to eat here everytime I visited California from Canada. The fries were like cardboard texture, very hollow and bland with no crisp whatsoever. I recommend skipping the fries if you plan on eating here.

I’ve had many in n out meals, but today’s takes the cake. Received my food in an almost advertisement-worthy fashion. Fries are not in n out’s strong point, but these fries were consistent throughout. Onions were caramelized well. Soda machines’ carbonation was strong. Burgers were good as always just presented in a nicer manner than usual.

Ordered a 4×4 with a whole grilled onion and animal style fries with extra grilled onions. It was amazing! In N Out continues to be my go to when in CA for burgers.

Hard to bad thing to In-N-Out, it’s a stable place for California for great quality of foods, great service, and at reasonable prices. This location has been here for decades even when I was in elementary school. It’s mostly for drive through but they do have an island patio for seating area around 6-8 tables. Staff are generally nice and friendly with greeting upon seeing you with a smile. The foods are still great (smaller patty but quality is still there). Fries are freshly cut and fries and very tasty. Love the milkshake overall. There is also inside where you can order to dine in at the patio area or to go. Both inside and drive through can be hectic majority of the time but if you come early or late lunch and late dinner, it wouldn’t be that bad at all.

First of all, if you didn’t know, I’m gonna let you know. You can order your french fries lightly crispy or well done. However, you like them, they will make them. This location made my lightly crispy fries perfectly. Not to mention the fries are perfect in length. Some locations give you nubby little fries. Now let’s talk about this grilled cheese. Have you ever seen a grilled cheese look like that? I absolutely love their grilled cheese with a whole grilled onion and chopped chilies on it. They already come with lettuce, tomato, and secret sauce. So for those that don’t eat meat, this would be my go to. Trust me they don’t lack on cheese. You still know you’re eating a grilled cheese sandwich. Service was on point as expected. The ambience was classic just like In-N-Out! Well, done team!!

We were in the area and needed to grab a quick lunch for my lo, who has lots of allergies. We dined on their outdoor patio since there is no indoor sitting. Even though some of us have food from another restaurants, no one was giving us the hard time. Instead, the employee walked about checking to make sure everyone got what they need and even giving out the little hats for all the kids in the dining area. All the In-n-out we have been to so far have great services, but this one def makes us feel extra welcome. And kudos to the chain for having allergy friendly options.

Ok, so normally this is my favorite place to eat. Then I found out they had chop chilies to put on the burger and oh my goodness it’s like a whole new burger! This time however I don’t recall if the buns are normally toasted or not but these were freaking toasted and burnt and it felt like I was eating cardboard and another horrible experience or the fries they were not really fries they were more like mashed potatoes they weren’t cooked very well at all and the only thing that was good during this trip was the strawberry shake. But who are we kidding of course I’m going to go back because well it’s in and out but I might avoid this location I don’t know… it was that bad.

A California tradition for Best Drive Thru Burger. Often a line, but burgers turned out as fast as possible while remaining tasty. Fresh ingredients. Friendly staff. For extra fun search for «In-n-Out secret menu». Maybe a 4×4 or animal fries? Protein wrap?

This classic Southern California dither location never disappoints. A delicious burger made the way you want it. Try asking for cheese on your fries or having them «animal » style.

Looking for a place to eat hot dogs on the Fourth of July my daughter googled and found this super iconic favorite in LA. We are so glad we went to experience it ourselves!! The venue itself is worth the trip, but on top of that there is a large selection of food items, not just hot dogs, and great service!! The food portions are very generous and the prices are great! All was very tasty! Messy, but tasty haha! It’s definitely worth the try!

Lunch in a train car!!! First time going to Carney’s, but not the last time. There are a good number of tables, even if it is packed, it seems like tables open up all of the time. And with a great, elevated view of Sunset. There is parking, some of the spots are a bit tight, but there are a good amount of spots. There is a lot of history on the walls, definitely a classic restaurant. And restrooms you do not need a code for. If the door is locked, someone is in there. The restaurant is clean and full of character. The menu is small, but well thought out with dogs and sausages, as well as burgers, salads and wraps. I have been wanting a thick burger for a while, everything seems to be a smash burgers right now…. This hit the spot. Thick and juicy quality meat and not over cooked. I got the half pound burger, med rare. With a New York style turkey dog for my partner. Split the train wreck fires and we were stuffed. The burger was well cooked, not dry at all. Very substantial. The turkey dog does take a bit longer to cook, but was told that it was worth it. It was cooked well and was full of flavor. The fries are really good and are very messy, better than the competitions.

I have nothing to complain about.. I didn’t like what I chose but that was on me for experimenting lol.. great location with a parking lot and outdoor seating… Loved the minions pop up… Although it wouldve been really cool to have a special minions menu or minions packaging or even minions and Carneys stickers.. anyways my uncle said it was his new favorite spot for chilli and plain burger I ordered for my 12 yr old cousin was delicious even at its plainest… The names for the drunk sizes are funny and everything was just awesome .. such a fun experience

Carney’s is an awesome place. Their food is top quality, service is very friendly and fast, and the converted train car is a thrill to eat in. I recognize Carney’s from my childhood video games, and it lives up to the hype. Each time I visit LA, I will be eating at Carney’s.

Carney’s is one of those places that should (and used to) exist in every large city. A place where late at night every type of person gathers for some yummy and bad for you food in a unique environment. Dining in a train car is awesome, the food is really solid and service is fast. I get that it is busy, but really the only negative is that it could have been cleaner – someone wiping down the tables, emptying trash, etc. I can’t wait to go back!

I ordered the chili cheese fries as they say «vegetarian chili» but, this is not vegetarian chili. It clearly has ground beef in the chili. So for this reason I have given three stars. Also never got my potato tacos but that was refunded via Uber Eats. Will more than likely order from somewhere else next time. Sorry!

$17.52 for tortilla chips w/ chicken with some sprinkled cheese on top. I was expecting some melted nacho cheese somewhere but nothing just pinto beans. I feel like I got ripped off. The chips are those thin ones. The chicken is bland. I mean I’d go ask for a refund but I’m no longer in the area at this point. Ridiculous.

I got asada fries for like $17-18 dollars (can’t remember) but what I do remember was i couldn’t believe how heavy it was unopened (like at least it felt like 2lbs+) and when opened it was literally half fries and half ingredients of like beans, cheese, pico de gallo, guacamole and etc. It was just darn delicious and very filling for two portions. If you can finish the whole serving in one go, I’ll think you’re a youtuber or something because it was a lot of food and I hope businesses like these stay open as «forever» as possible.

Love the food but way too expensive. Used to be more affordable. The place is a dump so no reason the food costs so much. I get vegetarian nachos which includes some cheese, bean, chips, Pico, and at times a smidge of guac. Do not tell me this little bit of stuff costs $14! Should be $8 max and they’re still making good money off these ingredients. Rip off!!! I’ve come here for decades but I think bc they’re near USC they feel they can rip off «rich» kids. Just not right!

I give them 2 starts because the food is good and the beans are vegetarian. But, the crew here used to just be excited to see me because I always come dressed up after work. Sometimes I can tip, and sometimes I can’t. But when I don’t, they mention it and even ask for a tip or say a rude, snarky comment when I do tip like «oh you remembered this time» I come here a lot and there is no digital tip option and sometimes I don’t have cash, or ability to tip. I feel pretty offended every time they say something about a tip as if they expect it and are upset when they don’t get it, and act very indifferent when I come when they are only happy when I tip them. I get it.. but the more they mention it the less it makes me want to tip, or come back at all really.

Air Tree Water

It wouldn’t be fair to compare this place to McDonald’s or Burger King, because the burger buns, fillings, and overall ingredients are completely different. The buns here are very fresh, soft, full, and aromatic, without any stale taste when you bite into them. The fillings are made from fresh ingredients that are either fried or grilled to order, so they taste like they’ve just come out of the kitchen, in other words, especially delicious. Although the calories and oil content are relatively high, it’s definitely worth recommending if you’re craving a burger. Afterward, you can grab some tea or a cola to cut through the richness, and you’ll feel just fine. Their people service is also good.

Meh. Food ok, service slow, but bathrooms were atrocious. Car trouble caused us to be late for a show so we decided to grab a quick burger instead of sit down which was not that quick. Lots of staff but mostly talking to one another which may cause the slowness. I appreciate a fresh burger but the wait was longer than that. Three kiosks for self ordering (one down due to low battery) and a cashier for orders wasn’t enough to keep up I guess and it wasn’t even that busy. Service otherwise was friendly when we did interact with staff. Burgers were good and probably top 3 fast food burger I’ve had for sure. Fries were a little under cooked and soft, but can order well done next time. Cheese on top of fries were a nice touch though. Last but not least, the bathrooms. I get it’s Hollywood but security seems to keep the homeless out so it’s either disgusting customers wrecking the bathrooms or a lack of maintenance. Haven’t had a Shake Shack burger in years, mostly because the locations are not that convenient and it seems that’s the issue. New York or Hollywood, both high traffic locations are all I’ve tried. Too busy keeping up to work on the details or clean up I guess. They should take a page out of the in n out manual if they care at all about getting better.

Terrible!!!! Waited almost AN HOUR for my food while being pregnant!!! I almost passed out. How is this even acceptable or legal? Pure insanity. If I only knew that it would take this long I wouldnt have ordered in the first place. There were bunch of people who were also waiting more or less than me and stood in line for a refund. But since I am pregnancy I couldn’t just cancel and go somewhere else because that would add more of my time and I was already feeling nauseous and had to eat ASAP. On top of it all, the burger came out TINY and overcooked. Like burned. I’m not satisfied with my experience at all. This is criminal. Wasted my time and money.

I was skeptical about Dubai Chocolate Milkshake but it was amazing that I forgot to take a picture of it. Instead I have images from my wife «get me those». Definitely good experience and somehow feel classy in the neighborhood

The food was so good yesterday that I came back, but my burger was full of oil! Super strange since burgers don’t tend to be oily! It stained through the wrapping and a napkin. Disgusting… I couldn’t finish it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Shake Shack is decent, but it doesn’t quite live up to the hype for me. The burgers are definitely better than McDonald’s—fresher ingredients and better flavor—but they still fall short compared to Carl’s Jr. Portions feel a bit small for the price, and while everything is fine, nothing really stands out. It’s a solid option if you’re nearby, just not something I’d go out of my way for.

As Aussies travelling through USA’s west coast, we attempted to give nearly every big fast food a try. Wendy’s was just dry – the chicken, the fries, everything was really chewy and lacked taste. The service at this one though was really super friendly! 🙂

WINDOW SERVICE… Disinterested, Bored, ZERO personality.. He got entire order wrong. TWICE! Left window… Looked in bag. STILL 1 BURGER MISSING!! A BIG BURGER. Fries were the best part. Burger was Thin, tasteless, over run with sauce pickles onions more sauce!! Tossed out $14.90 in 2 Burgers.. They say the chicken tenders are your best bet. Idk?.. IDC so much now.

This Wendy’s used to be awesome back in the day. Last night, I ordered the Biggie Bundle. The fries were cold, stale anddry and didn’t come close to filling the very small container they came in. The 4 chicken nuggets were okay. The Jr. Cheeseburger was ridiculous – a thin patty, on a very small bun. The best part about the experience was Joshua, who took my order and served it. But Wendy’s is responsible for the dismal food offerings. Do better. I won’t be back.

This Wendy’s is located in the middle of Hollywood in the «not so glamours» area. Just down the street is The Seventh Veil all nude strip club just for reference. The restaurant itself is clean and safe so don’t let the area it’s in make you think it’s not worth going to. I really like the self ordering kiosks they have available when you walk in, very high tech and up to date. Just make sure if you order from there and you are paying with cash that you go straight to the counter and pay. It doesn’t really tell you this and I ended up waiting longer than I should have because my order wasn’t started due to waiting for payment. I thought I would pay when my order was ready. It was quite busy for a Sunday at 11pm but the Super Bowl was that night. Even after I paid it still took around 15-20 minutes but again it was quite busy with food delivery drivers picking up orders for people. Also they were out of vanilla flavored Frostys so I had to settle for chocolate. The employees were nice but very busy behind the counter. Not a bad experience for the area and for how very busy they were.

Cashier working last night was incredibly rude. I ordered then was shouted back at «LARGE». Not even clear what he was saying as most civilized humans will ask if you would ‘like to make it a large?’ He then proceeded to yell ‘COOKE’ and ‘SAUCE’ at me. Please find someone new. This isn’t my first uncomfortable exchange with this guy. I didn’t even get a receipt, straw or napkins. May 28, 11:47pm chicken tenders

I rarely eat fast food but my kids are crazy about minions. But something fishing is going in there how can a person get 4 of the same figure both the adult and kids meal and there were signs the blind box was tampered, another blind box the character was not in plastic.

Love this location. It is close to Weho, as well as the hills, they are open late and they also accept ebt. They’re drive thru can be quite tight and sometimes may be backed up. They only accept ebt inside of the dining room so if they close the dining room and go to the drive thru they will not run the card or take your order. Sometimes the manager Jose can be a bit overbearing and extra. There can be a problem with tweakers and randos just hanging out inside which can be kind of scary sometimes. I wish Jose would focus on that a bit more than who’s ordering through the drive through because he closed the lobby. I love a good Wendy’s Biggie Bag, so when ordering one on a late night I will usually come here with my friends.

I never ordered tenders before. Always stuck to the big carl or famous star. Today I thought… hey why not. Spent 17 ish bucks on 3 tiny tiny tenders and a coke. 4 dollars a tender… smh. It wasnt even good because it was a bit overdone and it taste like old oil. Isn’t the fryer suppose to be drained, scrubbed, and refilled every morning?

Review for January 3rd 2022. I usually come here after work after working a very hard day. There is an In-N-Out Burger is right across the freeway from them. But In-N-Out Burger is usually pretty full in the Drive-Thru. So I go to Carl’s Junior and get a burger here right before I get on the freeway. It’s pretty decent is not bad can’t complain. It fills me up whenever I’m really hungry right after work. I’m not guilty, to say that I do appreciate the fact that they are not as busy as in and out. Thank you.

Absolutely dismal ordering. The staff act like they can’t hear you over the drive-thru speaker. Surely they can have brighter individuals working.

I went through the drive-thru, got a breakfast combo and 4 tacos, services lacked attention as a custumer, i got one of those cashiers that talk to fellow employees while hand signaling you for the payment, i did got asked if i needed any condiments, receipt was shoved in my bag but as soon as i pulled out the window i reached in and grabbed a taco (since it had been more than 3 years for me since i had JIB) and to my disbelief the taco was cold and soggy, i pushed it to the trash and reached for another one and the amount of grease that had been left in the bag and had been left in my car cloth was disappointed, I will definitely not be back to that type of service ever specially for the quality of the food and lack of attention does a customer’s order

I stopped by this Jack In the Box location today to pick up my mobile order. I got the jalapenos popper for my wife and the jack spicy chicken burger. I also got their Oreo shake. The drive thru pickup was simple and quick. The food was made correct and tasted great. The Oreo shake is only good when it’s cold.

I ordered two four piece mozzarella sticks and received both orders burnt with zero cheese on the inside and completely hollow. (See photo… I know it sounds ridiculous but these were really completely hollow.) Also ordered two jumbo jacks with no cheese and received these two jumbo jacks with double cheese slices. An order of large fries that were hard as rocks and stale one has brown and a Coke and vanilla shake I paid $51 for this order and My entire order was inedible I was only able to have the Coke i ordered and my children were not able to eat and only had the vanilla shake. I called the store and strangely enough the lead who answered knew exactly what I was talking about without me providing details of date or time when I ordered. So if this is their idea of a joke I’m not laughing cause you messed with a child’s food

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I came through the drive-thru around 8pm and had a great experience! Eva was the employee who helped me—she was super kind, professional, and got everything done quickly , I got tacos a shake and fries. My order was fresh, hot, and exactly right. I’ve noticed that when I come by at night, the food is ALWAYS fresh and the service is consistently on point. Big thanks to Eva and the night crew for keeping things running smoothly!!!!! (:

Frequently asked questions about fast food restaurants in California

The Health Regulations for Fast Food Chains

California has some of the most stringent health regulations for fast food restaurants in the United States. These regulations, primarily enforced by the California Department of Public Health, focus heavily on trans-fat restrictions, calorie labeling, and portion size limitations. Chain restaurants operating within California must adhere to these specific standards, which often differ from those in other states, leading to variations in menu offerings and preparation methods. The goal is to promote consumer awareness and encourage healthier food choices.

What are the Calorie Labeling Requirements?

All fast food items sold in California must display calorie information prominently on the menu or packaging. This requirement, implemented under Assembly Bill 1150, aims to provide consumers with the nutritional data needed to make informed decisions about their food purchases. The labeling includes calories, fat, sodium, and carbohydrates, offering a detailed breakdown of the food’s nutritional content. Restaurants are required to regularly update this information to reflect any changes in recipes or ingredients.

How do Portion Size Restrictions Affect Menu Options?

California's laws limit the size of certain items, particularly beverages and sides, sold at fast food restaurants. This has led to reduced portion sizes for items like soda, fries, and milkshakes. Restaurants have had to adjust their menu offerings to comply with these restrictions, which can impact the overall cost and perceived value of meals. The impact is particularly noticeable on items that are traditionally served in larger sizes.

What is the Role of the Department of Public Health?

The California Department of Public Health plays a crucial role in overseeing and enforcing the health regulations for fast food restaurants. This includes conducting routine inspections, investigating complaints, and issuing citations to restaurants that violate the rules. The department also works to educate the public about healthy eating habits and promote compliance with the regulations, ensuring food safety and consumer protection.

Are There Specific Rules for Drive-Thru Ordering?

The health regulations extend to drive-thru operations as well. Restaurants are required to provide calorie information to customers ordering through the drive-thru, mirroring the requirements for in-store sales. This adds an extra layer of complexity for both the staff and the customer, as it necessitates a quick and accurate communication of nutritional details during a busy and often rushed process.

What are the Regulations Regarding Marketing to Children?

California has implemented regulations restricting the marketing of unhealthy foods to children. This includes limitations on advertising unhealthy items on television and online, as well as restrictions on offering unhealthy food and beverages to children in restaurants. The aim is to influence children’s preferences and encourage healthier eating habits from a young age.

How do the Regulations Impact Restaurant Operations?

Complying with California’s fast food regulations can significantly impact restaurant operations. It requires ongoing menu adjustments, staff training on nutritional labeling, and increased operational costs related to compliance. Restaurants must also maintain detailed records of their food preparation and sales to demonstrate adherence to the regulations.

What is the Significance of Assembly Bill 1150?

Assembly Bill 1150, signed into law in 2015, was a landmark piece of legislation that established the comprehensive regulations for fast food restaurants in California. It’s considered a pioneering effort in the nation to address the issue of unhealthy eating habits and promote consumer awareness. The bill set the standard for other states and countries to follow.

Are There Exemptions to the Regulations?

While the regulations are generally applicable, there are some limited exemptions. For example, certain small-volume retailers, such as mobile food vendors, may be subject to a less stringent set of rules. However, these exemptions are carefully scrutinized, and restaurants must demonstrate that they meet specific criteria to qualify. The regulations are designed to be as comprehensive as possible while considering the realities of the industry.

How do Local Health Departments Enforce the Regulations?

The California Department of Public Health provides oversight, but local health departments play a crucial role in the enforcement of these regulations. They conduct regular inspections, investigate complaints from the public, and work with restaurants to ensure compliance. The collaboration between state and local agencies is essential for maintaining the integrity of the regulatory system and protecting public health.
