Our first time at Thai Famous and it did not disappoint. This super cute, family-owned restaurant has plenty of parking and you really can’t miss it, the whole place is beautifully lit up outside and feels welcoming before you even walk in. As soon as we entered, we were greeted with great customer service and seated right away. The whole restaurant felt like home. It was clean, cozy, and had that real family vibe. We got there just before the rush around 8 pm, and by the time we were settled in, the place was packed. Definitely the spot to be. They started us off with drinks, and here’s the best part, the Thai iced tea was unlimited and complimentary. Yes, totally free. For food, we ordered the Thai hot wings, pad see ew with beef, pad Thai noodles with chicken, and shrimp fried rice. Everything was amazing. Easily some of the best Thai food we’ve had. They also gave us free dessert. (Fried ice cream!) Our total bill was under $90, which made the experience even better for the quality and portions we received. We’ll definitely be back.
Came here after a concert at the Honda Center. Was really craving some Thai food and I’m glad this place was open late at night. Their soup and pad Thai was delicious. They were really nice and even got some free delicious dessert. Their Thai iced tea also came with free refills which you don’t get at a lot of places. Worth the drive if you’re in the OC area.
We always drive pass here years but never stop by until today, one word to say "AMAZING." We tried the Tom Yum and Pad Thai, they are both reallyyy delicious and fit Vietnamese taste. The representations of the food are caring and looks good to be honest. The customer service is absolutely nice, cute, welcoming, and happy. We had a great impression when walking in, and the polite gentlemen is really kind and caring. He asked about our food and do we want it hot? Eat now or later, so the food will not get cold. I was surprised how great the services are. It was 0:30 A.M in the morning, but the restaurant is crowed and warmed, we actually like the atmosphere in this restaurant. They treated us with their famous "Fried Ice Cream" for free since it was holiday, and we were surprised and did not expected it. 1000* Stars for this lovely Thai Food Restaurant. Thank you the chefs and the gentlemen in the front desk, we will come back.
Tried this for the first time earlier this week with my boyfriend and it was so good, it was ready right at pickup time and they even gave us two free thai teas that were amazing! they were genuinely the best we had both tried we got the pineapple rice with shrimp and chow mien and both were really good, couldn’t even wait to take the picture 😂
I stayed in this town for a week for a conference and decided to try this restaurant after seeing its Google Maps reviews. Unfortunately, my overall experience was very disappointing. I visited the restaurant three times for dinner. One of the first things I noticed was that the, the food quality was highly inconsistent, some days the food tasted good, but other days it was the worst. This lack of consistency makes it hard to trust what you’ll get. On my third visit in late at night, I ordered takeout and specifically asked for extra vegetables, for which I paid extra, and I also left an additional tip. However, when I reached home and opened the box, it was just bland, flavorless noodles with no extra vegetables at all. The dish was completely tasteless and not what I had paid for. The next morning, I went back to the restaurant to show them the issue and get it corrected. Instead of handling it professionally, the cashier accused me of lying and claimed that I had already eaten the vegetables. This was shocking and extremely unprofessional behavior. Only after I showed my receipt did they "fix" it by simply adding plain steamed vegetables on top of the same noodles without even properly stir-frying or preparing the dish again. This felt careless and disrespectful. Based on my experience, both the food quality and customer service are poor. The inconsistency in food and the way customers are treated raise serious concerns. I also question whether many of the positive Google reviews are genuine. Overall, this was the worst restaurant experience I had in the town, and I would not recommend it to anyone.
