Groundworks Foundation Repair San Jose

We recently had foundation repair work completed by Groundworks, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Humberto did an excellent job coordinating everything from start to finish. He kept me informed throughout the project, answered my questions, followed up with me, and made sure any concerns were addressed quickly. When an adjustment to my financing was needed, he worked with Mark and the rest of the team to get everything resolved, and I really appreciated the communication every step of the way. I also want to thank Mark for taking the time to explain everything clearly, making sure I understood my financing options, and helping get everything taken care of. A special thank-you goes to Humberto’s field crew. They were professional, hardworking, respectful of our home, and took obvious pride in the quality of their work. It was clear they cared about doing the job right, and that gave us a lot of confidence in the repair. From the office staff to the installation crew, everyone treated us with courtesy and professionalism. Outstanding. Excellent service. Fast, punctual, clean, cordial, cooperative, great communication. Crew chief José Moya, together with Vidal and David, were a terrific team. At my request, they talked and walked me through each stage of what they were doing, and why, as they raised the downhill 30% of my house by nearly four inches to bring it back to level. We had a really good experience with Groundworks. Mark helped us with the initial inspection and explained the crawl space moisture issues and different options very clearly. Jose led the installation team with Robert, Francisco, and Brandon, and they were all great to work with. They kept us updated throughout the project, answered questions along the way, cleaned up everything before leaving each day, and were very professional. During the installation, they also noticed an issue with our AC condensate drain and took care of it as part of the project, including setting up separate pumps for the AC drain and the dehumidifier. I really appreciated how thorough they were and that they paid attention to things beyond just completing the basic installation. Overall, the whole process was smooth and communication was excellent. We’re very happy with the work, especially with Jose and his crew. Highly recommend!

Five-star service from Derek and Cody! Managing a fourplex inspection in Menlo Park can be a logistical headache, but these two made it seamless by working around both my schedule and my tenants'.
