Williams-Sonoma

I kinda consider Williams-Sonoma a bit above my paygrade. I really enjoy walking around inside this store and looking at all the cool culinary equipment, but I can rarely get myself to actually buy anything there. That said, I did buy a set of 4 oven friendly bowls for making French onion soup. I also picked up one of their aprons and am pleased with both purchases.

I was surprised and disappointed when my daughter gifted me a $70 bottle of olive oil from William Sonoma, which I found to be absolutely disgusting. I decided to take it back to the store, but unfortunately, they have a policy that doesn't allow returns on food items. I'm still scratching my head over how they can justify charging such a high price for a bottle of olive oil that's clearly gone bad. It's not just the price that's an issue, but the fact that they won't stand behind their product and offer a refund or exchange.

I went in on a Wednesday afternoon in December and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful! We had placed an order for the wrong kettle and the staff member Jennifer was kind enough to help us fix it and place the correct order in time for Christmas! Very beautiful store!
