Mission Viejo Library

Mission Viejo library is very clean very neat and well laid out. It’s not a library that’s just full of books. They have computer stations, study rooms, conference rooms, and in the middle of the library there is almost like a gentleman’s lounge with two fireplaces. I often see People in the comfortable chairs, relaxing by the fireplace reading a good book. The library has a children’s area and on the opposite side, a quiet area for a serious study. Again, the library is well staffed with researchers people to help you find specific items or books as well as administrative staff. They all are extremely friendly and helpful. One side of the library has tables and chairs and comfortable seating with a large window that you can see out. With the window it’s very bright and open and I often see students as well as teachers studying. They have display cases with artwork done within the community, as well as galleries of painting And drawings from the local schools. In short, this library has the help you need and the places you can study comfortably. The library is very comfortable very open and well Staff.

Such a beautiful and quiet library! Mission Viejo Library has a very calming atmosphere, and the staff make you feel welcome the moment you walk in. I love the layout, the study spaces, and the huge selection of books for all ages. A great place to relax and focus

An entire universe of adventures for all ages and tastes. Not just books or computers, but lots of choices for music, cinema, languages, and a myriad of things we can learn from home or inside this incredibly cool, clean and pleasant environment. The librarians here are your best allies in finding whatever, always ready to take any challenge you bring... and always with a cordial smile.

I love the friendly and knowledgeable staff here and the fact that they're open until 9:00 pm. I wish they had better and stronger printers, that copied both sides not only to save paper/ink but also to save us 15 cents a page. I need to print so much, but it's too expensive at Staples and I can't do it at this library. They would make so much more money by just investing in an industrial printer. Please!!! 🙏

Mission Viejo Library is a standout public facility — beautifully designed, quiet, and well-stocked with a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. The staff is exceptionally helpful and the building itself is one of the nicest library spaces in all of South OC. I often mention it to families considering Mission Viejo because access to great public libraries is a real quality-of-life factor. It reflects the city's overall commitment to community excellence. One of the best public libraries in Orange County without question.
