Had my 6L80e transmission replaced in my 2013 GMC Yukon Denali with their stage 1 build. They reprogrammed it and installed a big oil cooler to help with heat. Heavy duty torque converter as well. Been 5,000 miles since install and I’ve towed my travel trailer and a few vehicles with no problems. Reasonable price and turn around. Replaced my rear main seal while they are at it and a few transfer case seals. Zero leaks. Very happy with it.

I blew my 4l60 transmission, went to Monterey Transmission for a rebuild and decided to go with a stage 2 upgrade, truck has been running great ever since. Tony gave me great costumer service, everything was done correctly and in a timely matter, gave me fair prices for the great quality work being done. I went on a 4 day vacation to Monterey starting this past Thursday and my clutch on my 2017 hyundai accent went out Thursday night the first day my vacation started. I called Monterey Transmission along with many other Transmission shops early Friday morning before their opening hours and Monterey Transmission were the first ones to call me back. Monterey Transmission had the lowest-priced repair out of all the Transmission shop, I called and got great customer service, when they said they will call back with a quote it was fast within 5 minutes. I was able to have my vehicle towed directly to them and the same day it was back and running great. I highly recommend them for their quality work, great customer service and great prices especially being around the Monterey area.
