I admit they sent out a demand letter, emails and made a few calls to my previous employer regarding my case, BUT since they couldn’t receive my employment records because my employer refused (which should have been a red flag!) they pretty much couldn’t do much with out it, they terminated the case since they couldn’t move forward. Basically the employer wasn’t intimidated what so ever with this firm. The employer read the emails, opened the demand letter and the ONE time they did answer a phone call they said they weren’t worried with this firm and were not gonna provide anything they asked for. So the firm did exactly what my previous employer knew they would, dropped it, being laughed at for picking this firm was the outcome, so now I opened a new case with a new firm and it’s finally getting pushed forward! They immediately seen the red flags from the jump and basically told me not to worry and they got it from here. All in all, it was the title of this firm they were not worried with for some reason. Good luck to the rest of you though. I didn’t get anything from this but time wasted and no defense.
I have been waiting for months to hear something back regarding my case everything seemed to be going so good start asking me for my signature and to allow them tog eat documents from my employer, that was back in June I’ve yet have heard anything about my case I’ve reached out multiple times and somehow it’s they can’t get a response from my employer I’m 6 months pregnant going from temp jobs because of my unlawful termination this is stressing me out I’m running out of resource. To help me with my bills and kids and to keep myself from stressing during my high risk pregnancy I was told it takes up to 6-9 months to settle I started my claim in February
I was connected with Anthony Araya to assist me with the prelim paperwork. He made quick and easy with a great listening ear. I feel more at ease with the process.
I appreciate this firms service. I had complications with 2 companies not following employee laws and doing unfair practices. LFEC protected me and my rights putting that company in a position where they had to address their practices. In the end LFEC got me a settlement that helped me tremendously. I feel this company protects employees that are wrongfully terminated and being treated unfairly.
I've been struggling with a lot. I don't want to put anything public as I don't know what I can or can't say. But Jane spent a long time talking with me & was the 1st person that truly listened to me. I'm so grateful for them taking my case. They're absolutely amazing and there's no words for my gratitude after everything I've endured. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much Angie Barrantes. For helping me today regarding my issues. It was nice talking to you. So nice of you. God bless you. Stay blessed 😇
In my observations many of the five-star reviews here appear fake, as they are unusually similar in tone, wording, and structure. Several seem to follow the same pattern: naming a specific employee, praising how great they were, and claiming they recovered money in just a few days. I would encourage others to read the reviews carefully and draw their own conclusions. I would also highly recommend you do not use this firm. Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite. Over the course of more than a year, I rarely spoke with anyone who demonstrated the level of competence, professionalism or legal knowledge I expected. Documents sent and received by them contained frequent typos, poor syntax, and unprofessional sentence structure. At minimum, I would have expected basic proofreading and legal syntax. More concerning was the communication and handling of my case. During one phone conversation, I was first told the defendant had not made an offer, then told an offer had been made, and moments later told they already knew no meaningful offer would come and the case should simply be closed. The explanations were inconsistent and difficult to reconcile and took place over a 45 second span. Which can only mean it was a lie objectively speaking. By the end of the process, my statute of limitations had expired, and I deeply regret trusting this firm with my case. My overall impression was a lack of ethnics, legal competence, transparency, poor communication, and inadequate attention to client concerns. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this firm to do extensive research, carefully review both positive and negative feedback, and ask detailed questions before committing to representation.
