Great wolf lodge is a great local outing for families. Lots to do at a solid price. The free water park wristbands with a hotel is pretty awesome. 6 can fit in a standard hotel for $250 a night, so 6 free wristbands is nice. One negative is that lots of parents use GWL as a babysitter, so it can get quiet hectic if you enjoy actually spending time with your child. Kids constantly cutting in lines, touching the screen to the game when your child is trying to engage, running into you or your child with zero regard for safety. Pretty standard stuff for family vacation destinations, but worth a mention. It's a very fun place, but can be a bit much quick. Most people will say 2 days max stay is best. I will say, the service is really really solid.

Check in was VERY Easy but if you have any add ons definitely hit the front desk to get ur passes so you can enjoy the perks. The rooms were okay, Nothing special. I definitely gave another wipe down to everything and I always bring my own sheets. The Food was horrendous.Im upset that I spent money on the Burger buckets and pizza that we didnt even eat. The breakfast is definitely NOT fresh.I did purchase the breakfast and also food credits. The Barnwood restaurant was good for Dinner,Unfortunately it dont open until 5. My husband and I went mostly to play in the water park, We are Big kids so we also enjoyed the Arcade too. This place was built for the kids. Weekdays are great to go.. But when Friday came it was PACKED. We will return just do door dash for breakfast/Lunch and have Dinner at the Barnwood. I wouldn't have added so much extra add ons, since we didnt have any kids with us. It was a nice get away.

I am extremely disappointed with our experience at Great Wolf Lodge. We booked our stay a week in advance and paid in full before arriving. We got to the resort at 2:45 PM, fully aware that check-in wasn’t until 4:00 PM, so we had no expectation of getting into our room early. However, when 4:00 PM came, our room still wasn’t ready. We weren’t able to access it until 6:00 PM—a full two hours after the published check-in time. Traveling after a long drive with four children, this was completely unacceptable. We spent two extra hours waiting in the lobby with little choice but to sit and wait while valuable vacation time slipped away. What I don’t understand is how a hotel can accept reservations, charge guests in full ahead of time, and then fail to have the room ready by the guaranteed check-in time. If the room isn’t going to be available, guests should be notified in advance or compensated appropriately—not informed only after they’ve already arrived. To their credit, the staff offered us a complimentary attraction and breakfast, and I appreciate the gesture. However, it doesn’t make up for the inconvenience, frustration, and lost time at the start of our family vacation. For the prices Great Wolf Lodge charges, I expected much better organization and respect for guests’ time. Families plan their trips around published check-in times, and the resort should be able to deliver on that commitment. I hope management takes a serious look at their check-in process because no family should have to start their vacation this way.
