Sit Means Sit Dog Training South Orange County

We signed our English lab "Boon" up for the 20 day train and stay as a 6 month old. We certainly missed him! That was the hardest part. The team at Sit Means Sit did an amazing job with him! Every trainer we’ve interacted with is knowledgeable, patient and understanding, not to mention pretty cool too. 😎 A big thanks to Kevin for all the great work you did with him! He is a well behaved pup now and we can take him for hikes off leash and not have to worry about him getting into trouble with other people, pets or snakes! He will heel right next to me, wait for me if he gets ahead too far when he isn’t in heel, sit and stay when needed, place on his bed or really anything I command him to place on and more. I’d recommend this training program to anyone whether you have a pup or adult dog. I’m so thankful we decided to sign him up for this training. Oh and the other great part is we can take him to dinner with us frequently because he is so well behaved instead of leaving him home every time we go out to eat. That’s more quality time with our Boon for years to come. 🩵🤩🐶💯✅

I recently rescued a 1.5yo German Shepherd girl, and put her in the day train. She typically needs a lot of encouragement to get moving, but she has shown so much improvement in her training ability and attentiveness. They have taught me how to properly use e-collars, which gives my dog so much more freedom to be off leash and explore (which she has been loving). Sit Means Sit, specifically Kevin and Tatum, have done a really good job with teaching my dog the basic commands, and then training me so that I can continue it at home. I was hesitant to spend so much money, but seeing her able to enjoy exploring off-leash without me being worried for her safety makes 100% it worth it.

With both our dogs going through the Sit Means Sit program, we could not be happier with the results. Our puppy went from zero (training) to hero with the 10 day board and train, the before and after was almost unbelievable. Working with Andy, the home visits and field trip lessons after the board and train has been a game changer. He makes dog training enjoyable for us humans and the dogs while helping us understand the goals and expectations. We tell everyone we know with dogs Sit Means Sit South OC is the way to go. Can not recommend enough!

Before training my dog Rylee wouldn’t listen. After training, we get compliments everywhere we go because of how well-behaved she is. I feel very confident having her off leash because of how well she listens to commands. It’s a totally different reality than before. All of the trainers were wonderful in their support and follow-up guidance, especially Kevin and Megan. The money we spent was a great investment and I’m very glad we did it.

I cannot say enough good about Sit Means Sit and their staff. We have a one year old Doberman who has an abundance of energy. I’ve had golden retrievers in the past which came no where close to the same energy level so it was a shock for me. He loved to test us and any boundaries we tried to set. We sent him to the 20 day training and boarding and was the best decision we could’ve ever made! Our boy came back with MUCH better manners and behavior while still having all of his goofy personality! Once we got him back, he was more enjoyable to be around and the trainers were amazing with giving us helpful tips to continue the training at home along with any other issues that arose. He was able to contain his excitement instead of jumping on people, listened so much more, and his recall especially improved. Sit Means Sit has instilled a lot of confidence and obedience that our dog needed with receiving commands and also gave my husband and I confidence with maintaining training. I highly recommend Sit Means Sit for anyone who is wanting a change in their dogs behavior and a better way to bond with your dog in a fun way for both of you!

What a wonderful experience we’ve had with Sit means Sit. Our little Lucy was only 3 pounds and had no confidence, scared of everything, and visibly stressed on walks. Sit means Sit gave her the confidence to go on long walks and not be afraid of other dogs and actually want to play with them. Her training has also kept her safe and made her the most enjoyable pet we have ever had. It’s just been the best experience for Lucy and our family. Lucy is the sweetest well trained dog. I get compliments wherever I go. Andy the trainer was the absolute best! Lucy just adores him.
