Had a wonderful lunch at the original fish company. The building is well maintained and gives you a old classy vibe. Large seating areas and wonderful decor. The service was prompt and knowledgeable on the menu. We enjoyed oysters and clam chowder both were amazing!

Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The food really carried this place. The blackened mahi mahi was a solid 5 stars—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Definitely the highlight of the meal. The specialty drink (I think it was called the "Angry Bunny") was delicious—definitely a highlight as well. The crème brûlée, on the other hand, was more of a 3-star for me. A bit too creamy and just didn’t quite hit the mark. Service was mixed—I’d give it 4 stars. Friendly, but a little inconsistent. At times it felt attentive, other times like I was forgotten. That said, the overall experience was still a 5. Great food, good vibe, and I’d definitely come back.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience. We came in as a party of five without a reservation, fully expecting a long wait since they were clearly very busy, but the team was able to seat us in a very reasonable amount of time. That alone set the tone for a great evening. From the moment we were seated, the service was outstanding. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, and the entire staff worked together seamlessly. You can really tell this restaurant is well-managed. Even though they were clearly busy helping multiple tables and coordinating the floor, they still took the time to check on us and make sure everything was perfect. That level of care really stands out. As for the food. phenomenal! We ordered a variety of dishes including crab cakes, salmon, and several seafood selections, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. It’s easy to see why this place has such a strong reputation for quality seafood. Overall, we had a wonderful time and felt genuinely taken care of. Great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We will absolutely be back. Thank you to the entire team for making our night so enjoyable.

11/9/2025: Came here on Sunday for lunch and waited around 15 minutes for our table. We've been coming here for 10+ years but it feels the service has regressed. Our server, Anthony, forgot to bring us bread until we asked for it, as well as the side mango relish for our monk fish. We were overcharged for 2 orders of club salad instead of 1. No apologies. The Manhattan chowder is good as always. 4/12/26: Came here for a birthday dinner Sunday evening for a party of 13. We had the monkfish ("poor man lobster" 😄, 7/10), sea bass (9/10) and espresso Martini (7/10). The servers were attentive and took care of us. Bump up from 3 to 4 stars.

TOFC has been one of my family's go-to spots for celebrations and casual dining for many years. The food and service have been consistent, and we always have a pleasant and belly-satisfying experience. The atmosphere is upscale casual with plenty of cozy indoor and patio seating. The main bar is also a nice area for food and drinks, and watching sports. Brunch, happy hour, and seasonal menus are also available. The main menu offers a variety of seafood and more to choose from. We particularly like the raw oyster selection and shareable appetizers such as the jumbo shrimp cocktail, crab cakes, steamers, and baked oysters and scallops. The clam chowders are amazing as well, with two great options--white New England and red Manhattan. A few of my favorite entrées are the Captain's Platter, many of the Fresh Catch of the Day, the pastas, and the classics. If I choose fresh fish of the day, I'll have it prepared blackened or mesquite-broiled. Most entrées include two sides. My favorite sides are grilled veggies, garlic mashed potatoes, and sweet potato fries. You can't go wrong with any of the options. The complimentary fresh sourdough bread is warm and irresistible to munch on before the appetizers and main entree. Just don't fill up on it! You can also ask for refills during your meal and take home leftovers. The service and staff have been kind and attentive. They don't accept reservations, but we haven't had to wait long for a table to be ready. The market side of the restaurant offers some fresh fish and more to take home as well. The Original Fish Company is great for all occasions and all ages, or when you want a quality meal in a relaxed atmosphere. They also recently had their 45th anniversary!
