Bay City Bike Rentals and Tours

Julia took good care of us. Wonderful service Wonderful bike ride Alongside the coast line and across the golden gate bridge, visited Sausalito and came back on the ferry. Very recommended

Best time I had in SF was riding biking back and forth to Sausalito. Views of the bay and the bridge are stunning and humbling. We did it on the e-bikes and I think it is worth it because there are some steep hills and also the journey is like 20 km all around. The bikes were in perfect shape and we had the best service provided by adorable Mirela.

Saw this place close by to our hotel and decided to rent bikes for two hours here. The bikes were okay, however the location is not ideal, especially if one of your riders does not feel comfortable biking on the street and you want to bike the marina/Golden gate. Walking the bike to the wharf takes about 15 min, which eats into a significant chunk of your bike rental time. And then walking it back from the wharf to the bike rental location is another 15 min. Because of that, we returned the bikes ~5 min after our due time, but was charged for an entire extra hour. We rent bikes often when we're in SF as we enjoy riding around the Golden gate. I personally would not rent bikes from this location. There are better located bike rentals, like unlimited biking and blazing saddles, who do not nickel and dime you on your time.

Very good place to find multiple bikes with duration choices : 2h 4h day. Bikes are new and comfortable. We were suggested a tour with best places to see from the site. Best place to start for a round trip over Golden Bridge. A special thank to Lucia for the preparation and advices of the use of bikes.

We did this May 2023. This business was very close to our hotel The Hyatt Centric. I was very unsure as to what bike to get (e-bike or pedal) and the bike assistant was very helpful first by saying you don’t want a pedal bike if you are doing the Golden Gate Bridge (best advise ever!) and he let me test out the e-bike in the shop and gave me tips . We were three people all with e-bikes and could not have been happier with our choice. Besides the location, the customer service was top notch and we had no problems with their rentals. We enjoyed our time on the bikes and took the bike attendants suggestions for bike route to the bridge over to Sausalito and ferry back . It was a very smooth outing and I highly suggest doing this on your own and not paying for a "tour" !
