Ryan Films Weddings

My wife and I had our wedding nearly 9 months ago. We paid in full and so far haven't heard a word from Ryan and his team since the wedding. We asked wedding attendees not to record anything since we had Ryan and his team. They have the only copy of our ceremony and we're worried we'll have lost the footage forever. I don't need a completed video, but all my wife and I are looking for is the raw footage. I'm really hopeful that he can share the raw footage, as it's a unique memory we can never get back otherwise.

From someone who reads many, many reviews and vetted many companies, we ultimately decided to hire Ryan and his team and we are so glad that we did! We have only received our teaser video but man did they deliver! I have watched the video too many times to admit and couldn’t wait for the full length to write Ryan Films the amazing review they deserve. We had Kris and Brenda for our big day and both were so calming for me as we had a bit of a rough start to our day. They are both some of the nicest people you will meet! Kris, Brenda, and Ryan thank you so very much! We cannot wait to see the full documentary video!!

We did not receive the edited video as promised. Ryan and his team went dark for months. They only began responding when we informed our other vendors about this bad experience. We finally received the raw footage. Don't let Ryan Films ruin your best day ever.

I am very disappointed with the lack of communication and failure to deliver services by Ryan Films. My wife and I were married in March 2025 and initially contracted Ryan Films for a teaser and highlight video. We received the teaser and were very pleased with it. Based on the quality of that work, we then paid for an additional cinematic video so we could more fully relive our wedding day. However, the highlight video and full cinematic video have still not been delivered—now over one year later. We were informed of a personal emergency via a third party and responded with patience and understanding. Over the following months, we made several attempts to follow up but received no response. After continued non-delivery, we requested the raw footage as an alternative. In February, a team member, Madi, confirmed the footage had been shipped and provided a tracking number; however, the label was created and the package was never sent. We have not received any updates since, despite repeated follow-ups. These videos are incredibly important to us and contain irreplaceable memories, including moments with loved ones who are no longer with us. We trusted Ryan Films to capture our wedding day and asked guests not to record, believing those memories would be preserved through their work. We entered into this agreement in good faith, and while the teaser we received was beautiful, the lack of delivery and communication since has been extremely disappointing. We hope this matter is resolved, but if not, we are prepared to pursue further action, including legal remedies.

Do not hire Ryan, ever! The worst customer service I have ever dealt with. We got married in October 2024 and still don't have our wedding video over 1 year later. Ryan and his team have now have an email that is bouncing emails back as undeliverable and are not responding to calls, texts, or emails. We paid over $4,000 for this and now will likely have to take him to court to get a refund and/or get our wedding video. This is criminal (literally since he is stealing our money) to do to someone for their wedding video! Ryan has been incredible unprofessional through the process. He showed up 30 minutes late and missed some key shots. The issues continued after our wedding day. He informed us that he was dealing with some personal issues that would delay our video a bit. After missing the deadline of our video being delivered, which was 6 months after our wedding date, we had to reach out repeatedly to get a response. We probably emails/called 5-10 times before getting a response over a month later. Eventually, someone from Ryan's family stepped in and told us they would handle a partial refund and had hired someone else to edit the video. Of course, this was hugely disappointing, as we chose Ryan mostly due to his shooting and editing style. We were promised a partial refund and that our video would be delivered soon. This was back in October 2025. All we have received since were a few emails. We still don't have a final video, the refund we were promised, and have no way to contact anyone, as Ryan and his team are ignoring repeated calls, texts, and emails. The next steps will be joining many other recent clients and taking him to court. Oh joy. Never thought I'd have to sue someone for my wedding video. Whatever you do, don't hire Ryan. Go literally anywhere else.
