Blazing Saddles

We had a wonderful tour with Marcus! We were with 5, and total group size just 12. E-Bikes were nice and had lots of power, also on the steeper sections of the route. Marcus was fun to listen to, with many interesting and funny details. He also was very careful about guiding us through some heavier traffic due to the triathlon, and had excellent instructions on how to navigate the Golden Gate Bridge. Having a kind and knowledgeable guide really added so much to this trip!

My wife and stepdaughter did the Golden Gate Bridge Guided Bicycle / E‑Bike Tour from San Francisco to Sausalito, and it was a fantastic family activity. Our tour guide was awesome—knowledgeable, engaging, and made the ride both fun and comfortable for everyone. This is an incredible way to see the sights, especially riding across the Golden Gate Bridge itself. The views were unbeatable and added so much to the overall experience. One big bonus we didn’t fully appreciate until afterward: the tour is just the beginning. You actually get to keep the bikes for 24 hours, which allowed us to use them again the next day—great value and a fun way to explore more of the city on our own. They offer both regular bikes and e‑bikes. Given how hilly San Francisco is, we went with the e‑bikes and were very glad we did—they made the ride enjoyable and accessible for everyone. Highly recommend this tour for families or anyone visiting San Francisco who wants a fun, scenic, and memorable experience.

Hands down THE BEST thing to do in San Francisco!!! Blazing Saddles makes renting bikes incredibly easy! We checked in and were on our bikes and out the door in under 10minutes. The bikes come with bags (to store a water bottle, fanny pack, etc), locks, and maps so you have everything you need for an incredible day. It's definitely worth the extra money to rent the electric bikes. San Francisco can be windy, especially when riding out to the Golden Gate, so you'll enjoy having the extra pedal power. We rented bikes with our teenagers and rode along the marina, over the Golden Gate to Sausalito, and they all had a blast. There are several parking garages nearby, which is nice because a lot of the parking in SF is limited to 2 hrs. Blazing Saddles is also centrally located, so it's a great start/end point for a fun day in the city. I used to live in San Francisco and biking around was always my favorite thing to do with friends who came into town. It was fun to do it with my kids. Blazing Saddles has been around for years so if you rent from them you're in good hands!

Highly recommend and will definitely use Blazing Saddles again!! I haven’t been on a bike in a while and Gordy and the team made us feel welcome and comfortable. There’s a little video at the beginning and they took their time explaining everything we needed to know before heading out. We rented electric bikes for the full day. The bikes were new and easy to use. We rode over the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito, then to Hawk Hill (highly recommend!), and then to Oracle Park. They stayed charge the whole time with lots of battery left when we turned them in. I’d give them more stars if I could and I’m already looking forward to renting again during the next trip!

Our family of 4 had a fantastic day! Marcus was our guide, and he was engaging, knowledgeable, attentive…basically everything you want in a tour guide. The bikes were comfortable and a great way to see the city. We chose the tour that took us across the Golden Gate Bridge into Sausalito. Highly recommend this tour with Marcus!

Our family of five had an absolutely fantastic experience with Blazing Saddles! We wanted a fun way to take in the incredible sights of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge, and this exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. They got us fitted with the right bikes, explained everything clearly, and made sure we felt comfortable and ready to go. Their positive attitude and attention to detail made the entire process easy and stress-free. The ride itself was unforgettable. Crossing the Golden Gate Bridge by bike gave us breathtaking views and created some amazing family memories. It was the perfect combination of sightseeing, adventure, and fun for both adults and kids. If you’re visiting San Francisco and looking for a memorable way to experience the city, I highly recommend Blazing Saddles. Great bikes, outstanding customer service, and an experience our family will be talking about for years to come!

Great staff, bikes were good too (even though we chose the cheapest ones), fair prices and super uncomplicated alltogether! You get helmets included by Abus, which were clean as well. We took the 4hours to go from the rental to Sausalitos and take the ferry back to Pier 1. It was awesome! I had to get off 2 times because it was a longer hill, but there was no need for an e-bike or better bike 🙂
