This is not your average Lowe’s. It is clean, well kept, the staff is nice and they try to give you a good experience. Went in and saw a sale on some lawn mowers and picked up a new Milwaukee drill. They were in fresh stock of the screws and pvc pipe that I needed as well. I can always count on Lowe’s to have the materials that I need to get my remodels done!
Princesa had great customer Service. Elias who smacked his gum said "yah" without making eye contact when I asked for help. Overall we waited for an hour to get some lumber cut. Just to be told it would not cut. It looks like it would cut but I guess Elias didn’t want to go the extra mile for us. This review is for Stockton on trinity parkway.
Very disappointing experience with Lowe’s delivery and customer service. My delivery was scheduled for yesterday, but no one showed up and I received no satisfactory explanation. I then cancelled the order, but the order is now showing as active again, which is extremely frustrating. I tried using both the chat and text customer-service options, but neither was able to resolve the issue or provide a clear answer. A delivery that doesn’t show up, an order that was cancelled but remains active, and customer-service channels that cannot fix the problem is unacceptable. I expected much better from Lowe’s. Very poor communication and customer service
When I want to remodel my home with more detail, I like to shop at Lowe’s, which is better than Home Depot. This Lowe’s in West Sacramento is one of the stores I like. This store has more items in stock and is less crowded than the other Lowe’s in the Sacramento area. The store is nice and clean, and the people working there are helpful.
Solar salesmen and other 3rd party vendors are allowed to walk around and pester customers. Happens almost every visit. I put off going there because it. It's a shame as it's my local store and otherwise, they'd be 5 stars. Probably a corporate policy and they have no choice, but it's still annoying.
I've been a Lowe's customer ever since they opened their store on Power Inn back in the early 2000s and since opening their store in West Sac, shopping there has been even more convenient. When I remodeled my kitchen in 2003, my cabinets and Kitchenaid appliances were ordered through Lowes. Early this year I decided it was time to purchase new appliances and waited until Memorial Day weekend to take advantage of any deals. I had been eyeing the new Juniper line of Kitchenaid appliances and ordered the stove & frig May 27th. When we received the new stove in early June, I didn't see the scratch until the installers had left with our old stove. The scratch was on the front corner of the control panel and it was very visible when you walked into the kitchen. Lowes was notified and they came out in a couple days to take the new stove away. We were given several new stove delivery dates over the next few weeks, with the last delivery scheduled for 8/6. The frig was still on back order and we had no idea when it would arrive. 7/31 we received an email from Lowes stating that mgmt had been informed that there would be no Juniper stoves available for another 4 months, they would be cancelling our order and refunding the money for the stove and frig. The salesperson, Yvonne, has been very communicative and apologetic. She couldn't have been nicer or more supportive. We went to another local retailer, not Home Depot, to order new appliances, I assumed I would be getting the stainless steel. The salesperson checked, the Juniper refrigerator is in stock and the stove should be arriving 9/2. I'm not sure what's going on with Lowe's, they need to do better, this whole thing has been a nightmare.
Solid, Dependable, and Vast: My Trip to Lowe's (Citrus Heights) Reviewed by: A Nevada City Local Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5) Whenever my husband, as in man, and I have a major home project up in Nevada City, we try our absolute best to support our local independent hardware stores. But let’s be realistic: when you are re-doing a back deck or buying a major appliance, the local shops just don't have the massive inventory you need. That is when we pack up the truck and head down Highway 49 to the Lowe's on Greenback Lane in Citrus Heights. It is a corporate giant, yes, but for big projects, it gets the job done well. Here is my 4-star breakdown. The Good Stuff There is a reason we pass a couple of other options to come to this specific Lowe's when we are down the hill. The Garden Center: This is my absolute favorite part of the store. Their nursery section is massive, exceptionally well-watered, and beautifully organized. They have a fantastic selection of perennials, native shrubs, and seasonal annuals. While I still buy my specialty seeds locally, I always find great deals here on bulk soil, mulch, and sturdy terracotta pots. Organization & Cleanliness: Compared to some other massive orange-branded home improvement warehouses, Lowe’s always feels a bit brighter, cleaner, and less chaotic. The aisles are wide, the lighting is good, and it doesn't feel like you're dodging forklifts at every single turn. Appliance Selection: We recently had to replace a washing machine, and the staff in the appliance section were incredibly helpful. They didn't push the most expensive model on us, walked us through the energy efficiencies, and the delivery up to our tricky mountain driveway in Nevada County went off without a hitch. Why It Loses One Star It’s a great store, but it’s not entirely perfect. The Employee Scavenger Hunt: While the appliance staff was great, trying to find assistance in the plumbing or electrical aisles is like playing a game of hide-and-seek. You can walk down five different aisles looking for a specific brass fitting and not see a single blue vest. When you finally do find someone, they are usually in the middle of helping three other frustrated DIYers. The Weekend Gridlock: Do not, under any circumstances, go here at 10:00 AM on a Saturday unless you want to battle it out in the parking lot. The Citrus Heights traffic around Greenback Lane can get pretty congested, and the contractor loading zones get incredibly hectic. The Verdict If you need a specialized, rare screw or want a friendly, old-school chat about how to fix a leaky faucet, stick to your local hometown hardware store. But if you need 40 bags of premium mulch, a new kitchen appliance, or a flatbed full of lumber at a fair price, this Lowe's is reliable, clean, and well-stocked. It’s absolutely worth the drive down the hill.
