Fremont Tennis Center
The Fremont Tennis Center stands out as a well-equipped facility with 15 courts, offering ample space for both casual play and competitive training. The grounds are conveniently located near scenic spots like Central Park and Lake Elizabeth, making it ideal for warm-ups or post-match relaxation. While court surfaces vary in condition, the center ensures accessibility with generous parking and additional amenities like a ball machine and pickleball courts.
Reservations are highly recommended due to peak season demand, and open play may occasionally face scheduling conflicts. The center maintains a structured approach to operations, including nighttime lighting for evening sessions, though policies like court usage rules may occasionally spark debate. I haven't played all the courts, but the surfaces are pretty worn so pretty fast. There is plenty of parking given there are other fields for various sports and activities. Overall it's good, but nothing exceptional.
Great courts but sometimes unfriendly staff. I understand there should be some policy to help run the tennis center. But the "6-ball policy" just doesn’t make any sense. Tennis court meant to be place for practicing and training, "6-ball policy" seems to make the tennis court here only for advanced players, which I totally disagree with the "6-ball policy". Recent update: They change the management team and it gets worse. The light is out around 8:45 pm even the courts are fully booked to 10:00 pm.
My go to place for Tennis. Bright at night so you can keep track of the ball. But you have to reserve the courts and you have a choice to rent a ball machine. Also it has a place for pickle ball👍
No regulation for open play. Some folks claim they have it booked when it’s open play
Fremont tennis center is quite big and have around 15 courts. But even then it might get busy. Make sure you call them and reserve the courts a day in advance (or even a week during good season). There is central park and lake Elizabeth around to either do a good warm up or wind down session after playing. Its open now (during covid times) and it requires you to have mask while in the premises. Playing doubles are also not recommended.
