I haven't played all the courts, but the surfaces are pretty worn so pretty fast. There is plenty of parking given there are other fields for various sports and activities. Overall it's good, but nothing exceptional.

Great courts but sometimes unfriendly staff. I understand there should be some policy to help run the tennis center. But the "6-ball policy" just doesn’t make any sense. Tennis court meant to be place for practicing and training, "6-ball policy" seems to make the tennis court here only for advanced players, which I totally disagree with the "6-ball policy". Recent update: They change the management team and it gets worse. The light is out around 8:45 pm even the courts are fully booked to 10:00 pm.

My go to place for Tennis. Bright at night so you can keep track of the ball. But you have to reserve the courts and you have a choice to rent a ball machine. Also it has a place for pickle ball👍

Fremont tennis center is quite big and have around 15 courts. But even then it might get busy. Make sure you call them and reserve the courts a day in advance (or even a week during good season). There is central park and lake Elizabeth around to either do a good warm up or wind down session after playing. Its open now (during covid times) and it requires you to have mask while in the premises. Playing doubles are also not recommended.

I've been taking both group and private lessons with Sammy for several years now. Sammy is an exceptional coach who has built a wonderful community of coaches and players at Life Long Tennis Academy. One of Sammy's greatest strengths is his ability to meet each player where they are, whether starting out or looking to elevate your game. He's teaches strong technical foundations and, just as importantly, teaches how to apply that technique in real match situations, improve your strategy and strengthen your mental game. Thank you, Sammy, for inspiring so many players to grow, compete, and enjoy the game!

Coach Sammy is great! Our daughter started with him at age five, and in the last year and a half, her game has reached a whole new level. He’s incredible at honing in on exactly what a kid needs to improve, and more importantly, he’s built up her confidence and passion for the sport. We’ve primarily done private lessons, and the individualized focus is top-notch. It’s been such a great experience that our son is now training with him too. Highly recommend him for any family looking for a fantastic tennis coach!

Lifelong Tennis Academy in Berkeley is hands down the best place to learn and play tennis in the Bay Area! Whether you are picking up a racquet for the very first time or trying to refine your technique, the instruction and community here are top-tier. If you are looking for private coaching, I cannot recommend Coach Sammy enough. I took a private lesson with him and was completely blown away. He taught me more in a single hour than I learned after entire sessions of group classes with a different company. He has an incredible eye for mechanics, breaks down complex adjustments effortlessly, and tailors his feedback so you see immediate improvements in your hit. The beginner group classes at Lifelong are equally fantastic. They are energetic, incredibly fun, and double as a fantastic workout. The coaches keep the drills dynamic, the pacing is great, and the atmosphere is super encouraging for players of all skill levels. From game-changing 1-on-1 instruction with Coach Sammy to high-energy group clinics, Lifelong Tennis Academy has completely exceeded my expectations. I can't recommend them enough to anyone looking to level up their tennis game!

We highly recommend Life Long Tennis. My kids (ages 9 and 13) have been playing there for some time, and I just started as a complete adult beginner. Sammy is the absolute best coach—not only is he a true technical expert, but he’s also incredibly dedicated and thoughtful in how he teaches. What really stands out is how well he adapts to each player. He meets my kids at their level while still challenging them, and he’s been just as patient and encouraging with me as I learn from scratch. His coaching builds both skills and confidence, and he makes every session fun and engaging. The program itself is well-organized, welcoming, and supportive for all ages and levels. It’s rare to find something that works this well for both kids and adults in the same family. We’ve seen real improvement and, just as importantly, a genuine love of the game grow. We’re so glad we found Life Long Tennis!

Two months in and I’m already hooked. The instruction here is exceptional. Chris McLaren, Victoria Castro, and Leo Bakiri are fantastic coaches who’ve improved my game more in two months than I managed on my own in the past year. Between private and group lessons, they bring real expertise and enthusiasm to every session. On top of that, the community is very welcoming and I’ve already found a great group of people to play with regularly. Highly recommend BTC! 🎾

I visited this place for the National tri level tournament. The place is beautiful with a lot of courts to play. The parking lot is narrow and could be challenging. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The courts are maintained well. But watch out the courts are very closer to natural area and you will end up going out the court to get the balls often. You can also reserve the courts at a nominal fee. Great experience at this location.

Marcelo is an incredible coach, he blends a professional approach with a great sense of humor, making every session fun, even when a shot might get a little frustrating. Whether I or anyone at the clinic misses a shot, he keeps us positive and moving forward. What really stands out is how clear he is. He breaks down each movement, uses examples, and pays close attention to every detail so we get the form right. His patience and step-by-step guidance keep us on track, ensuring we improve one detail at a time. Overall, Marcelo's leadership, clarity, and positive energy make the entire clinic better.

Tennis is my passion and is one very few are into as a hobby, so it's really nice that there's a whole club here in San Diego, an extremely active one as well. The courts here are well maintained throughout the years. Booking a court is fairly easy using their app but you must be quick and ahead of time because they'll mostly get booked, especially during evenings. Unfortunately, I'm no longer an active member due to some circumstances but Colleen was very helpful to process my request, which I'm very thankful for. I'll continue to come here as a guest on rare occasion.

PICKLEBALL HAS RUINED this place. There are only about 4 courts left where you can play tennis in peace. Where you can actually concentrate to hit a good serve during match play. The pickleball and the pickeball players are so loud and have zero respect for others. In the space that used to be for 2-4 people to pay a tennis match they now cram in 12 people plus those waiting to rotate in, so over 15 people and they are ALL talking and yelling the entire time. This is such a shame that the city allowed this. They should have built a separate pickleball facility elsewhere so the noise and the crowding wouldnt make tennis unbearable here.

My 1st time here for my son’s tennis tournament match. He’s came here a few times for away games from school. The facility is really clean and big. I have my 8y old kid playing at Euro tennis. The environment is just amazing. It’s very professional – the training is fun but there is also a lot of discipline inculcated in kids which is perfect at this age. The coaches are just awesome. I could not have been more happy with the overall experience. The overall experience has been excellent and I highly recommend Euro tennis for anyone who would either like to learn themselves or enroll their kids. We’ve had a positive experience with Euro School of Tennis, and I wanted to share our appreciation. Coach Jason has been fantastic with the kids. I usually arrive about 10 minutes early to pick up my daughter, and during that time I often see how involved he is with the students. It’s clear he puts a lot of effort into helping each child improve their skills and makes sure every student gets attention in a supportive, healthy learning environment. June has also been extremely helpful and proactive. Euro School of Tennis has been a fantastic find for our family. The coaches are patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the sport — you can tell they actually care about each student's progress, not just going through the motions. What sets them apart is the personalized attention. Even in group sessions, the coaches take time to correct form, offer specific tips, and keep kids engaged and having fun. My kid went from barely holding a racket to consistently rallying, and more importantly, actually *loves* showing up each week. The communication from the team has been great too — easy enrollment, responsive to questions, and accommodating when schedules get complicated. For a Bay Area tennis program, the value is really solid. If you're looking for a structured, encouraging environment to get your child into tennis (or sharpen your own game), Euro Tennis in Fremont is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!

Steve Smith

I've been increasingly disappointed with the condition of this gym. Management needs to start addressing some long-standing issues instead of letting them become the new normal. First, whoever is responsible for maintaining the pools and hot tub isn't doing the job well. Over the past few months, I haven't experienced clean water a single time. The hot tub rarely has more than a couple working jets, and it's been that way for as long as I can remember. The pool behind the hot tub, which is usually cold, is now covered with green stuff and mold, leaves, and other debris. It's not only unpleasant, it raises serious concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. No one should have to wonder whether the water is safe to swim or relax in. The rest of the facility isn't much better. The gym itself is frequently dirty, and it often feels like basic cleaning is being neglected. Equipment is also regularly out of service, with broken machines sitting for extended periods with notes on them before they're repaired. When you're paying for a membership, you expect equipment to work and the facility to be clean. Management needs to prioritize maintenance, cleanliness, and timely repairs. Right now, it feels like those basics are being ignored and I can't recommend this gym based on the conditions.

I understand if you want to bring your children over the summer but they have a kiddy mushroom pool and also 2 other small pools that should be for children. The large pool should only be for adults working out. It was disgusting. There’s candy melted on the side of the hot tub with bag of airheads and French fry’s PLUS children jumping into the HOT TUB and pools going back and forth. I was loving this gym until now. Contemplating on canceling the membership

Most likely going to terminate my membership soon. This club can never seem to enforce their rules. It would be nice if someone would come out of the office every now and then to check the pool area, especially the hot tub. They have a sign posted that reads "Children under 14 not allowed in spa", yet kids are always in the spa. They make it dirty and jump in the water, run around with minimal parent supervision. Today a kid did a cannon ball into the spa. Very cool… Also, their water machine filter was left on red for weeks, told employee it still hasn't changed and they told me it's always like that. Weeks later the filter light shows green. So I was essentially lied to. Not worth the money paid and would rather spend my money elsewhere. Update: Hot tub jets are now broken due to the carelessness of others. Also, water machine by tennis courts have not had filter changed since 12/2023. Staff at Planet Fitness are more educated and nicer than the staff at Brenda. No one knew how to cancel a membership. Pools are also dirty, one seems to be in cleaning every time. Go spend your money elsewhere.

We signed our 2 1/2 year old up for the Parent Participation swim classes with Christy. She is amazing with the littles and the sessions flow so well. She does Group participation and individual time which is so nice to get that additional 1:1. Thank you! We are so excited for the next class!

This place is nicely undercrowded but u fortunately it’s extremely uncomfortable to excersize in this facility. At least in the pool side building. the temperature is regularly 75+ in there and there are no fans circulating air. It makes it pretty difficult to focus and get and workout to the extent I would like. I find myself calling it quits earlier just due to uncomfortabilty. I enjoy the setup here and how it’s not crowded but especially in the summer months I would surely appreciate at least a fan or two to circulate some air.

We love PRSC, been members for nearly one year. Had everything you want our of a casual and vibrant family friendly sports club. Plus summer events are awesome for the entire family. Their staff are always welcoming and friendly as well as helpful. They recently resurfaced their pool area. Added a cold plunge and they keep the place up amazingly! We love PRSC!

UPDATED 2025: dated and dirty facility, not safe! Lots of locker break-ins, run of the mill gym charging country club pricing. Mgmt changed business model allowing pods of eight to pay as a group making it seems like a ‘discount’. USED TO BE: Conveniently located just below Coit Tower, indoor pool and Cheryl is a fun body pump instructor!

Great facilities, nice front desk people. If you can afford the membership, I highly recommend. Tag along a pay as a guest of someone if you need to try it out. But it's a good indoor tennis place for when the weather outside isn't cooperatingA

Toured this location today and it looked fantastic. Plenty of tennis and pickleball courts, lots of programming, a ball machine available, etc. etc. etc. Weston their tennis director was great as was the other guy I met (forgot his name). I won't be joining — the actual initiation fee is $2500 for the option including all racquet sports, not the $300 I was initially quoted — but that's not these guys' fault.

Don't join unless you want your monthly fees increased by $20 every 6 months. They force you to pay a crazy initiation fee and they continue to raise your rates without any communication or heads up. On another note, the staff is very nice at this location. Nothing against them in this review. Management of bay club is just too greedy. It's sad to see many people leaving due to all these price increases. Update: Jan 2026 They are raising rates another 20$ a month 😢. No mercy from their greed.

I joined Bay club in April 2023, and since then, the monthly dues have skyrocketed by 50% without any valid reason. The management is completely out of touch with its members' needs and concerns. Despite these outrageous fee hikes, there has been little investment in upgrading or improving the facilities. To add insult to injury, they've introduced court cancellation and late fees to continue harassing members. The club's management is a total mess. They barely communicate with members and couldn't care less about soliciting feedback to improve the membership experience. It’s been maddening for many of us trying to get basic issues fixed, like ensuring the Bay Club App Court Reservation system accurately shows which courts are open play versus reserved. Simple tasks like these should be handled effortlessly, but here, they're a nightmare. I advise against joining if you're looking for a consistent and fair membership experience.
