Anna Purvis Architecture

I can't thank Anna enough for her outstanding work on my permit approval project. We needed existing house conditions drawn up to address some previous work that needed revisions — something that was complicated enough — but Anna always made things easy to handle. Her transparency throughout the process was refreshing as she kept me informed at every stage, making sure I knew what to expect. This was especially good during back and forths with structural engineers where it was always clearly communicated what changes were being made and why. What truly set Anna apart was her responsiveness. She was always quick to communicate and, most importantly, made sure to address city comments in a timely fashion — keeping our project on track and avoiding unnecessary delays. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a skilled and trustworthy architect!

Anna is excellent at following up and chasing down issues. She was also flexible in terms of adjusting scope of the project as we encountered very tough requirements in the first round. The hardest part in doing a private job is the higher scrutiny the county has on it. So, it was definitely helpful in having someone who understands the "politics" of the process.

We hired Anna to help us with a garage-to-JADU conversion and had a super smooth process. She's always incredibly responsive and professional, made sure we take care of all required owner forms on time and our permit went through super easily. Would highly recommend!

I want to express my appreciation for Anna's outstanding leadership in our recent home improvement project to add a sunroom. From start to finish, Anna demonstrated her professionalism, ensuring every detail was handled with care and precision. Her transparency throughout the process gave me confidence, she kept me informed at every stage, explaining steps, costs, and design choices. Anna’s expertise, clear communication, and reliability made for acquiring the building permit an easy process. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a skilled and trustworthy architect for home improvement projects.

Working with Anna was a great experience. From day one she communicated clearly and consistently and kept us up to date at each step of the process. She is very knowledgeable and took the time to listen to our ideas and provide insights and ideas that we hadn’t considered. We highly recommend Anna and would work with her again!
