Akins Auto Repair

I had an excellent experience with Akin’s Auto Repair! I brought my car in to have the A/C repaired, and they provided outstanding service from start to finish. Their pricing was the best I found, the work was completed professionally, and my A/C is now working perfectly. It’s refreshing to find an auto repair shop that offers great service at a fair price. I’m extremely happy with the experience and highly recommend Akin’s Auto Repair to anyone looking for honest, reliable, and affordable automotive service. Definitely a five-star experience!

10 years of service and still going strong! I’ve relied on Akins for a decade to keep my vehicle running perfectly. Their service advisors are always transparent about what needs to be done, and the quality of work is top-notch. It’s a relief to have a shop that treats you like a long-term partner rather than just another appointment. Thanks for the great work over the years!

Went in today with a check engine light, with an appointment ahead of time. I was personally helped by Atkin and he communicated excellently throughout the entire process. Very clean shop with a nice waiting room. I'd definitely take my car here next time! 10/10 highly recommend!

Edit: The good reviews for this shop is definitely justified. Don’t be too quick to judge if the person on the phone sounds a bit busy. The service is definitely worth it! The person is super knowledgeable and knows what he’s doing. 10/10 for honestly & integrity. 10/10 for the pricing. We paid HALF the price compared to BMW service center quote. This might become our regular service shop. And we wish we would’ve found this place earlier.

Excellent. Akin is straight up and his work is always top notch. His staff is very skilled and fast. Fair pricing and his estimates are always accurate. The only bad thing I can say is sometimes they get very busy, but there is a reason for that!

Over the many times I've brought numerous cars to Akins, I've never had any issue. There is always good communication, up front information you can trust to be true. They have helped with the 2004 Lexus IS300 and the 2008 GMC Acadia. Although I have not lived in the San Jose area for 5 years now, whenever I drive to the Bay Area to visit family I consider bringing my car here. They are that good!! If I call any other repair shop it'll take me 1 to 3 days to figure out how much the service is going to cost. Akins has a ballpark price for me within 60 seconds, literally. If you're going to take your car anywhere I can guarantee you'll have a great experience here.
