BEWARE!!!! This company will leave you stranded for no reason. Ended up noticing I had a flat tire when I was leaving work and called AAA like I always do. I have a 2001 honda prelude I specifically asked for a flatbed since I had an issue last time with them not bringing a flatbed at first. The agent said she will put in the notes and make it a point that I get a flatbed. 15 minutes pass and what pulls up not a flatbed. I told the driver that I asked for a flat bed. He said yeah its going to probably be 60 minutes he went around my car taking pictures which was odd. He then leaves and 20 minutes later he calls me and informs me that they are actually not going to tow my car because its too low. Which is odd due to them towing my car a couple times. Nothing changed from when they last towed my car same height, same car, same exact model of tires. Only thing that is not the same was the location I was about 700 feet from where I was towed last time. Beware of this company, if you are in their area ask AAA to send someone else they can and will leave you stranded for no reason. Luckily I have people I can call so I was able to get someone to mount an old tire on an old rim I had and then drive down to me so I can put on a new tire. After all this was done they decided to call me again and ask if I needed a tow. Something seems very off with this company.

Barry was such a professional and gave us great customer service. Me and my family had our car die waaaay up in the mountains, and he was there way faster than we had expected. 10/10 would happily get our car towed away by him again.

I want to give a huge shoutout to the tow truck driver, Eddie, who helped me this Sat! His friendly attitude and attention to detail were exceptional. He took the time to keep me updated every step of the way, ensuring I felt completely at ease. It was clear he genuinely cared about doing the job right, and his professionalism was unmatched. It’s rare to meet someone so responsible and dedicated to their work. He turned what could have been a stressful experience into a smooth and reassuring one. Hands down the best roadside assistance driver I’ve ever encountered—thank you for going above and beyond!

Jan’s Towing was incredibly frustrating to deal with. They used what felt like a sketchy and pressured approach in telling my wife that the car had to be towed to their yard. Service in person was poor, and their phone support was just as bad. We were left on hold endlessly, had to repeatedly call back, and still didn’t get meaningful help. On top of that, they only allow one person in the lobby, despite having multiple couches inside, so everyone else is forced to wait outside with no seating or proper waiting area. It really felt like their only priority was collecting fees, not providing honest or professional service.

It took 4 calls to AAA to get Jans to replace a battery under warranty that they sold me less than 1 year ago. Their dispatcher and driver told me that it was not covered under warranty even though I showed them the receipt from when I bought it from them less than a year ago. It took me conferencing in AAA to get them to cover the battery. What makes it worse is that they forced me to pay them to install the battery. Despite the fact that on the second call they convinced me that there was nothing wrong with the battery, which caused me to get my car towed to the mechanic, pay for diagnostic services, only to find out it was the battery. My mechanic had everything ready to drop the battery in, but Jans demanded that in order to get my warrantied battery I MUST pay $100 for install. They said that it was due to a labor intensive install. But the air filter housing was already removed and all they had to do was drop the battery in and tighten the connection. If I could give negative stars I would. The sticker they have on their vans stating that there is a 3 year warranty on batteries is only true if AAA will get on the phone and force them, and then they will charge you the price of a new battery in installation. Rip off. Avoid at all costs. Edit to add: it took the driver 8 minutes to do the labor intensive install. So they charge $750 an hour to install batteries. Just do it yourself or go to a mechanic.
