Naomi is a truly exceptional Speech Therapist. She worked with my son during COVID and helped him make incredible progress, and more recently she evaluated my twins. Her level of skill and expertise is outstanding, and she has an intuitive ability to know exactly how to connect with each child and bring out the best in them. Beyond her talent, Naomi is unbelievably warm, friendly, and encouraging. She brings boundless energy and joy to her work—we call her the "Speech Therapy Miss Rachel." My husband said that he has never met anyone more enthusiastic about their job, and that enthusiasm is contagious. We adore her, trust her, and it’s immediately clear how deeply she cares. Naomi consistently goes above and beyond. She even took the time to send me worksheets for my daughter who is NOT her client, simply because she wanted to help. We are so grateful for Achieve Speech Associates! Naomi found a spot for us when our daughter was just shy of 2 years old and had only 3 words, when we did not yet know if she would eventually progress or if early intervention was necessary. Naomi fought for us and the resources we needed proactively in the beginning, and with tireless work from our daughter's amazing assigned clinician, Cheili, we made steady progress. It filled my heart to see my daughter finally be able to communicate and work through her frustrations, for her to be able to find her words, and for others to finally be able to understand what she was saying. I remember some words and sounds that we worked on for weeks, and the joy I felt when my daughter finally got it! Cheili was patient, persistent, encouraging, fun, silly (when needed), caring, and so knowledgeable throughout the process. When my daughter was being sluggish or stubborn, Cheili always knew how to change the approach, get her laughing again, and get her meeting her speech goals. We had services through other speech therapists, but it was very limited and surely not as intensive and committed to making the progress we needed. At Achieve, they were able to educate us about the mechanics of speech and gave us the tools to continue our progress at home. Every week, we were given updates and explanations of what we were working on and how we were getting there. Every session at Achieve felt special and they truly care about your child's well-being, and not just meeting but exceeding your child's speech needs. After this journey, my daughter graduated from the speech program today and I am so relieved and proud of how far she has come. It's a marathon, not a sprint, like so many other things in life. Others now often comment on what a chatterbox my child is, and she has blossomed socially.
