Cafe Gratitude

Delicious vegan food! Great atmosphere! I had a very enjoyable, relaxing dinner. The outdoor patio space was great. I took a scooter up there from Venice Beach. I can't wait to go back again.

Cafe Gratitude is an excellent vegan joint with a fantastic atmosphere in Venice. They have an impressive variety of choices on the menu, and everything we tried was delicious and fresh. It’s a great spot for a high-quality plant-based meal in a bright, welcoming setting. We really enjoyed our visit and the positive energy of the place!

As always, the food was excellent. Server was particularly sweet and warm, being flexible with seating choice and very kind in discussing Mandy items and her recommendations. The way she incorporated the creative names of each item along with our choices was welcoming, too.

All the food was well presented and tasted good. It's so nice to have a full menu to choose from (vegan restaurant). All staff we encountered were very accommodating and helpful. It would have been nice to see more Medical Medium collaboration foods. My only critique is that, despite the food being delicious, oil was used in much of it giving it a somewhat heavy feel, whereas I came to this restaurant for a clean meal. All their soy and corn is organic and non-gmo which is fantastic. The pictures of the bowls and salad had already been eaten from, so don't mind the presentation in those photos. We tried two of their "protein" add-ons and they were both very good. If I'm in the area, I would certainly come here again and try more items!

I ended up in Cafe Gratitude after a long day of walking around in Santa Monica and Venice: I had the Mediterranean tempeh protein bowl and it was simply amazing. The tempeh itself was so delicious and everything was super flavourful! I couldn’t resist also taking a desert and the lemon blueberry coffee cake turned out to be very good as well. And they have good espresso!
