Hottinger Family Meats

Hands down, this is one of my favorite meat shops. No matter the distance, I always find myself making the trip out to Chino just to pick up quality cuts from Hottinger’s. It’s definitely a hidden gem. For a small shop, they’re packed with a great variety of proteins. The staff is always nice, friendly, and efficient, which makes the experience even better. One of my go-to items is their sausages, I always keep some stocked in my freezer. I’ve also picked up steaks, beef ribs, picanha, pork chops, and more, and everything has been top quality. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, just ask...they might have it in the back. If you’re into cooking, grilling, or just appreciate good meat, I highly recommend giving them a visit.

10/10 They did the cut/wrap on our whole beef and it is amazing. So organized, neat packaging, clear labeling, beautiful cuts, just like i ordered. They helped me load all 790 pounds up in the truck too. The place was clean and everything looked fresh & tasty. Great experience all around. Next time I go out, I'm going to get a deli sandwich while I'm there!

Been going here for the last fourteen years five stars until today. Got the ribeye carne asada not the first time my go to place for carne asada when I don't have the time to make my marinade and let it sit. This batch zero flavor and my dog wouldn't even eat it. It's been a long run b but never going here again.

This place is amazing! One of the few places i know of that has that old school American butcher shop vibe and atmosphere. Love the pre marinated Tri-tips, ribs and chicken the most.

I started working in Montclair around 2006. I asked a friend of mine if you knew of any good butchers and he told me about this place! I've been coming here since and haven't been disappointed once. Their meat selection is always top tier and is always fresh. Their selection of sausages is second to none! If you want to see somebody that knows customer service this is the place nobody does it better. They take care of all their customers like family! Thanks for all the good food over the years!! And looking forward to many more!!!

This is the second visit to this place. I will add that it was as enjoyable as the first. The selection and quality of the products for sale are great. The quantities are also excellent. The service was quick and friendly. I will return when I need some quality supplies.
