Clovis Botanical Garden

Visited on a perfect day. Weather was great and it wasn't too hot. Beautiful plants and gardens. We really enjoyed the sensory garden. Absolutely recommend for others to visit. Super clean and the shop was very nice and well priced. We bought some handmade cards by Andrea Goodman and a few other little souvenirs. Can't wait to visit when in the area again.

Had a lot of fun taking a walk here, it is free admission but donate if you can! Very pretty and calming, you can bring your pet too (must be on leash). I like that you can also buy plants from there too!

Beautiful! Peaceful ! Enjoyed a nice morning here with family. The walkways are so nice , different types of garden to experience, some beautiful shaded areas with benches, perfect place to take kids or enjoy quiet reflection.

I took mom here to celebrate her birthday month long travel trips, and one of the place was to Clovis Botanical Garden. It was such a little treasure find! I absolutely enjoyed the serenity garden section, as I didn't want to leave the musical instrument there, that was free to use for the public. As I believe I've found my instrument talent I never knew about, and I definitely want one for my backyard....I'm sure the neighbors would just ...love it...(Not) Admission are free, but donations are very much appreciated. There is a visitor center where you can get a map of the layout, so you don't miss anything. They're opened from Wednesday -Sunday from 9am to 4pm. If your ever in the Fresno area come check it out, but watch out for the geese they act as though they own the place.

Update 3/22/26: we were back in the garden today, enjoying the spring changing colors, blooms and foliage. This is a place to be back often, to see the annual cycle of the various plants. Especially enjoyed the Mediterranean garden, for inspiration for our backyard. Still, with enough signs the experience would be much better. Original review: Despite the heat and dry conditions, the Clovis Botanical Gardens were worth the visit. With their focus on plants and trees that thrive in our hot and dry climate, while promoting water conserving gardening, they are an inspiration for future Central Valley garden owners ... The only thing to wish for is that more, if not all, species have signage. These days it is a bit easier to look it up yourself, but signs make the experience much more complete.

It is February and the flowers are not out quite yet. It is a peaceful environment to relax and walk around with family. You can make a donation to this beautiful garden.....

Nice small demonstration gardens using drought tolerant plantings. Nice visitor center.
