Avis Car Rental

I travel often for work. Sometimes that brings me to Fresno, California, and Robert, every time, is welcoming, honest, transparent, and efficient. I appreciate his kindness every time, especially with what I’ve had to deal with having to travel every week. He remembers me, always treats me with kindness, and his efficiency with getting me in and out is highlighted silently. He should be recognized and compensated for that work ethic and the positive view he brings for Avis, which I am not always experiencing.

I had such an amazing experience with Budget Car Rental, and I have to give a huge shoutout to Kim and Shann. From the moment I arrived, they made the entire process feel personalized and stress free. What really stood out was how much they cared about my safety, especially with the weather conditions. Instead of just handing me any vehicle, they took the time to make sure I was set up with a more sturdy, reliable car that made me feel completely confident on the road. That level of attention and thoughtfulness is rare, and it truly made a difference in my trip. Kim and Shann did not just provide a rental, they made sure I was taken care of. If you are renting a car, I highly recommend this location. Exceptional service like this deserves to be recognized!

I had a great experience with this rental car. The vehicle was clean, well-maintained, and ran smoothly the entire time. Pickup and drop-off were quick and hassle-free, which made the whole process really convenient. The customer service was excellent—friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with. Overall, everything was exactly as described, and I would definitely rent from them again. Highly recommend thanks to representative GAIL!!!!

Picked up our initial car and had to return to swap it out, but every team member working the desk was pleasant even when lines were busy. I really appreciated Gale, she was efficient, friendly and compassionate. The great customer service despite our initial concern with our car, made up for the time we had to spend waiting to swap it out.

My boyfriend booked a suv through budget which is owned by avis. May 15 he went online and reserved the car. It asked to pay now or pay when you pick it up which he chose to pay at counter. Was confirmed on May 27th. Trip was June 10th we flew all day feom pittburgh to fresno. Went to get car and they said they ran a credit report and he was declined. He was paying with his bank card which money comes right out of his bank. I said let me pay for it. I was told from lady behind the counter I had to go online and do it. She is in front of the system and wouldn't even do it. They were the rudest people I have ever seen. So I walked 10 feet to Alamo told them but budget did and he got us a card and laughed "we dont do a credit report". He got on the phone and called the lot and they had a nice vehical for us. And he took his bank card. Never again will i use them. They could have sent an emailed something to let us know before our trip but there was nothing. They also didn't even have the car we reserved. Never Never again. Thank you Alamo for being 10 feet away or we would be stuck at the airport til someone came and got us. Budget and avis dont know how to treat customers.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Sonna is the kind of person who completely restores your faith in customer service. We came into Budget Airlines already a little stressed (you know how travel days go), and from the moment Sonna stepped in, everything shifted. She didn’t just "help" us—she advocated for us. She was patient, sharp, and genuinely on our side, making sure we got exactly what we needed without any confusion or runaround. What stood out most was her energy. She was warm, real, and clearly knew what she was doing. You can tell when someone is just going through the motions versus when they actually care—and Sonna cares. She handled everything smoothly, answered all our questions, and made the entire rental process feel easy and even enjoyable (which is saying a lot). Will be using budget again! 🙂

Excellent service. Friendly staff. Keo was very friendly and personable and made sure I got the exact vehicle I needed for my trip. I definitely will be booking here again.
