Midway Car Rental Downtown Los Angeles

I was very happy with the service at Midway. This is one of the few car rental businesses downtown. I reserved a car about a week and a half in advance. When I arrived check-in was easy. Theodora helped me. She was very understanding, flexible with my add-ons, and very thorough with instructions. The lobby was clean, they offered water and coffee. The manager was also very nice. The car was clean and maintained. Drop off instructions were clear. Overall the experience was seamless and fast. From check-in to drive-off it was about 30 minutes. After-hours drop off took maybe fifteen minutes. I highly recommend this Midway. It’s nice clean and rentals are easy to do.

I don’t usually like to review on anything , but I had to share on this one. I had such a great experience renting from this business , they made my experience with them feel like the calm after the storm. I had been involved in a car accident which left me without a car or without a way to get home they were so nice that they even came to pick me up at the body shop drove me to their office handled all the paperwork and that was it. I left in shock at how efficient and nice these people really are. I loved the car I rented from them and I’ll definitely recommend them to anyone who needs to rent a car. I’ll be going back soon to rent from them until my car is out of the bodyshop .

Midway Car Rental has got to be the best car rental company in town! Not only is their service great, but truly some of the best people that I've met in LA!! I've got to tell you all about the manager, Mr. Mike Jaime. Even when he's checking in 35 cars from the week, and busy as can be, he maintains a positive attitude and a level of professionalism that is not easy to find not just in LA, but anywhere these days! He was able to help me with an issue with my other rental (caused by me and not them), and even got me into another car the same day!! I am seriously impressed, and believe he deserves a shout out, bc his strong, confident, and professional leadership obviously shapes the entire office, and likely the reason that his entire team is also impressively amazing! Even the parking attendant person, Tressi, is awesome too! Best car rental company in LA, and maybe some of the best people anyone could meet out here. Thanks!

Our rental didn’t start off perfectly, we experienced a few issues on the trip with the vehicle. However, I really appreciate the way branch manager Mr. Michael Jaime handled the situation. He took the time to listen to my concerns, followed up, and worked with me until we reached a resolution that I felt was fair. Customer service is ultimately about how a company responds when something doesn’t go as planned, and I appreciate that Midway made the effort to make things right. Thank you to Mr. Michael Jaime for taking my concerns seriously and ensuring we left as satisfied customers. I would definitely consider renting from Midway again.

Got a new 2026 Prius. Extremely clean and incredibly great on gas!! The crew at Midway were great! The even picked me up at the dealership. Quick and easy to get the car, and with unlimited mileage. I highly recommend.
