June 27, 2024 around 10:30am I went in to check in by using their monitor thing that they have. I was right away called to the window to turn in the paper work and I did. I let them know that my son(he was the one getting blood drawn) is Autistic and that he would need to be restraint, the receptionist said that they didn't have anything to restraint him with. I told her that my husband would be the one holding him and that I was just letting them know ahead of time. My husband and son were called in right away. It was a mess they were in no way prepared to handle a situation like that even when my husband told them how to hold his arm because we've gone through this in the past. Long story short blood got on the face of one of the women there and they were only able to get a small amount of blood out of my son. I 1000% don't recommend this place at all and we will never be back again. Ps. Learn how to handle situations involving Autistic Individuals and know that not everyone wants to be spoken too. Sometimes talking to an Autistic child makes things worse. Also, listen to the child's parents when they say something to make your job easier!

The staff is friendly and have a very gentle touch when drawing blood. They make you feel at ease and relaxed so if your afraid of needles they are very calming. I had no waiting time so it was a quick in and out visit.

There is one young woman who saved this rating from getting ½ star. If I find out her name, I'll update the review. I'm here every 4 weeks with time-sensitive specimens, and the employees are short with me, not very helpful and have no sense or urgency. The young woman is always friendly, she greets me, smiles and hurries because she understands. She practices great customer service. Maybe her co-workers should observe her and take notes.

All I can say is WOW! This location strives to have it's customers attended to within a few minutes. 9 minutes is the average for the day!! Impressive! Would not have believed that number if I hadn't experienced it myself. To all the staff there BRAVO!!

I had some lab orders from my physician which had to be completed by the end of the month, happened to see the Westec (PAL) while at a MD appt. I traveled over & this place was crowded! They move very quickly & the room just totally emptied out in a very short time! Efficient & actually painless!

It takes a bit of time for the paperwork/verifications that must be done. You sign in now like you do at USC so that is nice and faster. Staff is always pleasant when I have to go.
