The Pedaler Bike Shop

Great place! I took my son and his bike there because he needed a new wheel. They were very friendly and helpful to him. The repair only took a couple of hours, and it was very affordable.

I can’t tell enough how good this shop is. Their service is professional and personal. No need to worry that they will charge you extra. They will tell you how to save money. My son rides mountain bikes, so we have been around a few shops but decided to stay with this shop and found that we are pleased every time we come there. One time, a part of his bike broke and the manufacturer discontinued making that part, the Pedaler men spent their time negotiating with the manufacturer for my son, and the maker sent the whole brand new tire ( of a multi-thousand-dollar bike) for free. We only paid 45$ labor on installation to the shop. Considering all the time they put in, their honesty not charging extra for the tire, we feel so appreciated. It was just one out of many times we received this exceptional service. They have almost everything you need for bikes. Come buy the first bike for your kids. You won’t be disappointed. Their price is competitive. If they don’t have it, they will find it for you. Last but not least, they have been a local shop, not some corporate shopping chain. Come support our local businesses! Highly recommended!

The peddler is a great shop. The prices are competitive with the bigger chains. They have a surprisingly large selection given the size of the space. The staff is friendly and passionately knowledgeable. I've worked with Calvin multiple times and while he presents all the options he's been creative in finding practical solutions without trying to upsell. I love going to the peddler and supporting this small local business.

We just wanted to take a moment to recognize the amazing service provided for us by our local bike shop. Mike helped my son John get his first real bike. It was such a memorable experience! Highly recommend.

Officially my LBS since I moved to El Sobrante, these guys are super down to Earth and easy to chat with. I brought in a few bikes with parts to install, and they are always welcoming and provide me with a pretty quick turn around on all shop work. I will continue to come here for anything bike related!
