Cozymeal Cooking Classes

We had a great class with Chef Jordan up in beautiful Julian right overlooking Lake Cuyamaca. The chef carefully explained the ingredients with relaxing music playing in the background. His cozy house in the mountains was beautifully decorated and we loved his dog! He walked us through proper knife techniques and gave us tips on seasoning. We talked about various uses of mushrooms (this was a mushroom cooking class) and since we're vegetarians the meal was a wonderful vegetarian mix of a decadent mushroom soup, and a wonderful veggie lasagna using squash, eggplant and bell peppers. We didn't participate in making the dessert, but it was a really tasty and unique iced cheesecake-like dish with date-walnut crust and a banana based frozen topping. All very wholesome ingredients. We had a great time, and recommend Chef Jordan. Cozymeal made the booking and finding the right class easy.

Chef Jordan made a wonderful and memorable birthday for my wife. Her love language is food and she is a fantastic home cook, so I coordinated for Chef Jordan to create a Thai fusion meal with my wife as his soux chef. She had a fantastic time and we all enjoyed amazing Tom Ka soup, yellow chicken curry, and roasted chicken spring rolls with a peanut cilantro sauce.

Chef Stacey D. was fantastic! Had a such a great class learning to make the Asian Fusion Favorites - classic ramen, egg rolls, and sweet & sour sauce. The instructions and instructor were easy to follow along with. Everything came out amazing! We had a great experience and would highly recommend any of her classes!

We had the greatest evening learning to prepare and cook Indian food with chef Jordan. It was so much fun!!! When it was time to go I felt like we had made new friends and would like to return for again in the future. Truly a happy and wonderful experience!!!

Chef Jordan was remarkable! Great food, great conversation and super vibey energy. We would 100% take a class from him again. We are HUGE fans and left feeling full and satisfied both physically and mentally. Thank you, chef!

Wonderful experience! Took a Cozymeal cooking class as a Valentine's day date and really enjoyed ourselves. Chef Stacy was a terrific (and patient) guide who showed us how to prep and cook the meal (a ramen soup with eggrolls and sweet/sour sauce) and who answered all of our questions. Will certainly do another course in the furture.

What a splendid evening learning with Chef Jordan! The food was delicious, we learned a lot, and would hands down do it again. Just a note, look at the address when you book. It was a bit farther than I realized, but the drive up was beautiful.
