Pick Your Part - Sun Valley

I had a great experience at Pick Your Parts thanks to Cruz. I needed to return a part, but I didn’t have my receipt, and I honestly expected it to be a hassle. Cruz was extremely helpful, patient, and professional throughout the whole process. He took the time to help me figure everything out and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Customer service like this really stands out. Cruz was respectful, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience easy and stress-free. I really appreciate the way he treated me and helped me out when he could have easily just turned me away. Pick Your Parts is lucky to have someone like Cruz on their team. Excellent customer service and definitely deserves recognition!

This junkyard has a huge selection of vehicles, so there’s a good chance you’ll find the part you’re looking for. The yard is organized well enough to make searching manageable, and the staff was helpful when I had a few questions. The only downside is that some of the parts seemed a bit overpriced compared to what I expected for a salvage yard. Even so, the wide variety of cars makes it worth checking out if you’re hunting for a hard-to-find part.

Nice auto salvage yard, but nothing is layed out by manufacturer. If you want to browse you have to walk the entire yard. On the plus side, if you're looking for something specific there is a guy who can tell you exactly where it is. They sell tools and have a food truck, which is a definite plus.

We went on New Years Eve, and the guys who work there told us that everything would be 50% off the next day, for New Years. We were purchasing over $200 worth of auto parts, so we went back the next day to get them on sale. This place is so awesome-my favorite part is actually how you can set up the app so that it notifies you when a vehicle in your app's garage arrives. You can search ALL the Pick Your Parts for the parts or vehicles you need!

Came to junk a car yesterday on my trailer and the forklift operator let the car slip and fall on my fender. I complained at the window about it and they told me the operator is supposed to disclose to me that they are not responsible for any damages caused to our belongings on the lot…which he didn’t do. I had a friend helping me and he can attest that they didn’t warn me about anything. I have plenty of friends in the car community that rent my trailer to drop their cars off here. They’ve dropped off cars with wheels and without wheels and it has never caused this much damage to my trailer. My trailer did get damaged here once before by the forklift operator with a septum piercing while picking up a car WITH WHEELS. Fortunately it only needed a couple tac welds, but this most recent damage will cause the fender to never look the same even if it’s bent back into shape. Unless I buy a brand new fender and get it welded which will cost me upwards of $500 dollars. The damage could’ve been way worse, but this trailer is my livelihood and it holds sentimental value of someone who is no longer here. I use it for work in multiple businesses I own, and the way that it’s treated is a reflection of me as a the owner. For it to look like this for something I didn’t even cause is so unfortunate and disappointing. Apparently the forklift operators aren’t even required to use the forklift to pick up the car off the trailer "it’s optional"…we would’ve loved to know that so we could’ve taken another approach to dropping that car. I just wish the forklift operators would of said something before causing this damage so we could’ve just unloaded the car ourselves. This could’ve been avoided by exchanging a couple words prior to lifting the car… Edit as of 4/09/2026 Turns out they also damaged my spare tire mount so I will have to get that rewelded as well. I got word that they are making people sign waivers due to a "complaint by a girl", so they can take actions to protect themselves from future customers, but I still haven’t received a phone call from the manager (I was told I would get one) who I’m assuming made the call for everyone to sign waivers. Im not asking for much just asking for someone to take responsibility or at least apologize for the extra money and time I have to spend repairing this.
