DO NOT bring anything of sentimental value to this place. I brought both of my wedding dresses here (wedding is two weeks away), and I received them back with missing and loose beading as well as pieces of appliqué fringing off and completely coming off the dress. As I was inspecting one dress, there were beads falling off into my hands. The mother and son duo were incredibly rude and had no empathy. They made snide remarks about how they returned the dress clean and perfectly done, and refused to issue any sort of refund because they "already issued a service." I was brushed off several times saying the dress "looks fine." They offered to fix the beading, but I refused to leave my dresses with them again and risk further damage. I was not made aware by the cleaners beforehand that there was a potential to receive my dresses back damaged. I was even going to let go the dirty spot on one dress, but I can’t let go the damage to my dresses and emotional distress they have caused. I don’t know how this place has the reviews they have with the god-awful customer service and blatant disrespect of sentimental garments. For $250 a pop, you would expect the service to be done with care. Find somewhere else and save yourself the heartache.

Truly blown away by how fast they were able to hem a bridesmaids dress for me. I waited last minute to have a dress hemmed and it was done 3 days before the expected day. I was pleasantly surprised by the price as well. Also, quick shout out to the staff for being beyond helpful and sweet. I will be using La Vista Cleaners for all tailoring needs moving forwards and would recommend them to anyone.

Always so nice and accommodating whenever I come in here. Fernando is amazing and always gives me Pink Starbursts and Fiji when I come. Clothes always come back like new! A+ for how clean and cute it is in here too!

Dropped off a suit I needed for a very important event and when I went to pick it up some of the pieces were returned stained and a completely different color (was white now is brown/yellow). I asked for solutions and was told that I could leave the pieces for longer. When I let them know I was from out of town and needed the suit for an event the same day and was leaving after, the company was not understanding and very rude "what do you want me to do" when I suggested just replacing the garments that were ruined the owner got offended and spoke disrespectfully to me. I’m okay if you make mistakes but they tried to gaslight me and say that the original color was never white. I showed them pictures and videos of the original color and they still wouldn’t acknowledge a simple mistake. Pictures from the day before I dropped it off even. After matching their energy I was asked to leave. I apologized to the woman who was rude but I would never go there again don’t recommend it if you want quality dry cleaning and service for special occasions but maybe for regular or every day clothes that you don’t mind getting ruined. No one wishes this was fixed more than I do. No one cares less than La Vista Cleaners.

I had a great experience here. The first time I came in there was about 2-3 ppl in front of me but I was still in and out in just a few minutes. Every time I came back for a drop off or pick up I was still in and out in like 2 minutes. They take little to no time to even find your items and Fernando, who is always in the front, seems to remember just what you dropped off as soon as you walk in the door. I first came in for an alteration on a custom made bridesmaid dress that didn't fit around the waist. I was pretty upset because it was supposed to be a custom made dress. However, the ease and quickness Fernando's mom Maria handled the dress and how perfect she altered it melted away any anger I had, the strawberry bursts may have also helped a little. The dress fit perfectly after it honestly didn't even look like I got it altered, thats how amazing it came out. They also have a little bench in their fitting rooms which I appreciated because I had my son with me and he would've pulled on the dress if he was standing in there. The fitting rooms as well as the whole establishment was also very clean! I will definitely be coming back here if I ever need to again and definitely recommend anyone needing alterations or dry cleaning services to come to this beautiful family ran place anytime ! Amir was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I needed to buy some new suits and he helped me pick out two wonderful choices from his big selection. He then got my measurements and gave me some options on lengths and cuts. It's been 20 years since my last suit so I was a little over my head on how suits should fall and fit. Amir was very patient and helpful throughout the whole process. I needed the suits for a funeral and Amir helped expedite the tailoring for one of my suits and shirts. When I am ready for my next suit, I will definitely be going back to M.A.I.

Amor is a fantastic knowledgeable, friendly and meticulous tailor. I went in to get a suit that a bit too big tailored down into more of a fitted slim fit. As a bit of a newbie to tailoring suits and how they should fit, Amir spent time to thoroughly explain every adjustment to my desired look and specification. I was able to find MH Tailoring & Alterations after researching reviews while searching for someone I could truly trust with my wedding dress alterations. I ordered my dress from Etsy, and it was shipped from Poland. While it already had great bones and was exactly the style I envisioned for my wedding day, it was not fitted in the way I needed — especially the corset, which I wanted to feel structured, secure, and perfectly tailored with no looseness. I was working with a very tight budget, but I also knew that if the dress was not altered properly, it simply would not feel right for such an important day. My husband and I had an intimate 25-person wedding celebration following our NYC City Clerk ceremony, and I wanted to feel beautiful, comfortable, and confident. Did some research and the consensus seemed to be that, in West LA, MH Tailoring was the best place to send luxury, high-end leatherwear to get tailored. Snagged this erd jacket for a quarter of its msrp but xl, needed sleeves shortened. Arrived with the jacket and was in and out, measurements, payments, pickup schedule, within a couple of minutes. Picked it up over july 4th weekend and it was perfect. They even offered me a look at their shop setup and was shown several assorted chrome hearts denim being fitted for various clients. Received great customer service, paid the premium cost (~$250+) and got peace-of-mind that i’ll get my $2k+ garment back better than before.

Seriously the best!!! I brought in a pair of pants that needed shortening and two dresses for alterations. One dress had a really difficult material to work with, and they absolutely nailed it. The second dress needed alterations all over, and they fixed everything beautifully. The only issue was that the length was still slightly too long for me, but I brought it back and they adjusted it within a day and made it perfect. Super professional, detail-oriented, and truly worth every penny. I’ll definitely be coming back for future alterations!

After two different alteration shops told me there was no way to alter the waist of my Chrome Hearts pants without ruining the interior engravings, I came here. The lady was incredibly helpful, assured me they specialize in Chrome Hearts alterations, and did a phenomenal job. I can’t even tell they were altered, and the engravings were perfectly preserved. Despite Josh and team spending a lot of last minute fitting time with me to create my mother of groom dress, in the end, I couldn't wear it to the wedding. The proposed design was not accurately executed. The dress didn't flatter me. I paid full price in March, delivered the fabric in April, and my first fitting in June made me sad and confused since the design by whatever seamstress I was relegated to neglected to follow the design. Even with the subsequent redesign, I often left the multiple fittings feeling more confident, but then the changes to create diagonal folds across the bodice were never executed and then they didn't have enough fabric. See photos of the proposed design and actual dress. Delivered 12 hours before my flight, the final dress was still a disappointment.

We couldn't be more pleased with the service that we received from Charlie. He altered my dress for our grandson's wedding and then ordered and tailored my husband's tuxedo with many alterations in a very short amount of time. It was perfection. We felt so good on the day of the wedding in our outfits – because we knew the fit was just right.

I wanted to wear cufflinks on some of my shirts for work or more formal wear. Cufflink adapters didn't look right. I went to 2 different places and was told they would not do this. I thought about replacing my shirts with shirts that were made with convertible cuffs. That would have been expensive for 5 shirts. I went to Ari, and even though the lady looked a bit surprised at my request, she agreed to make the changes. The result is amazing! I can now wear these shirts with the cuffs in barrel form or French cuff style. I'm happy to find such a great local tailer! Thank you ladies at Ari!

I took my backpack in to get my grandfathers Air Force patch sewn onto my backpack in honor of him and she didn’t in less then 30 minutes!! She didn a wonderful job and is very kind I 100 percent reccomend getting your altering done by them.

I had an emergency dress alteration request 3 weeks before my wedding. I had previously gone to another alteration shop in Sacramento and they did something weird with my bustle and didn't quite fix what I needed them to. I am so glad I found Shahnaz's welcoming photo that someone else posted here on Google. She made me feel comfortable when I was stressing out about the time limit I had. Her alterations to my dress including letting it out, making the arms more comfortable, and fixing the bustle mistake in just a week. The string she used was very strong and lasted throughout the entire wedding and a four hour photoshoot the next day! She is the sweetest, kindest soul and does the best work!

Great experience. The ladies at the tailoring shop were absolutely wonderful they got right on making the alterations to my prom dress and it was ready the next week fit perfectly couldn’t be happier. Will definitely be back with any other alteration needs.

Ari Tailoring is the absolute best! Shanaz is extremely knowledgeable and an expert at her craft. My husband and I took our wedding outfits to her and we were extremely impressed by her work! She knows exactly what is needed to make the fit of clothing perfect. We are now using her for other fittings because her work is superior! Highly recommend her for any fittings but especially wedding! She is also so patient and sweet and we will be using her for all our fitting needs.

They do a great job, but some services are completely overpriced. They altered a dress for me years ago and they did a great job and the pricing was appropriate. Recently I had them alter eight t-shirts that were too long. They simply had to shorten them by the exact same measurement which is quick and easy sewing work, but they charged me $15 per shirt. I understand $15 if I just brought in one shirt, but for multiples in a batch there should be pricing that is appropriate since replicating the work is quick and simple. I feel that $120 to shorten eight T-shirts identically is very excessive. Doubt I will go back because I feel taken advantage of.

The owner is always very attentive. His staff is very attentive. His work speaks for itself they do great work and if he can’t do it, he’ll tell you upfront because his work speaks for itself he makes sure he only does the work that he knows he can leave you happy with. My dads suit he bought back in the 80’s custom made last for many decades and had it just enough for my high graduation now this year it fit me perfectly once again however when I was doing some task I ripped it on the arms sides ripped and in the side as well now it’s good as new! Thanks so much!

These people are awesome and dependable! I am from Chowchilla and urgently needed to have my son's costume altered for his dress rehearsal the next day. I found this business online and drove down to Fresno and spoke with a guy named Patrick about the urgency of my need. The question he asked was "what time are you driving back to Chowchilla?" I answered "11:00." am. He said "ok come back before you drive home and your son's pants will be ready." I did come back 15 minutes before 11:00 and my son's pants were ready! 😊 I totally recommend this place for your iteration and sewing needs. Look for Patrick, he is a really nice gentleman! Alterations by Doreen provided outstanding service. She was friendly, professional, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I appreciated her skilled sewing techniques and the perfect hemming of my pants. Doreen was wonderful from the moment I called here. I was recently diagnosed with cancer and I wanted my cancer ribbon patches sewn on my denim and leather vests. She was quick and affordable. Truly though , Doreen is a great conversationalist. Her stories of growing up in the 60’s are that of legend. I couldn’t listened to her stories all day. Doreen did an amazing job altering my pants! I had super flared pants hemmed and taken in to create a more bootcut fit, and the results were perfect. She is kind, friendly, and communicates clearly while keeping you informed throughout the process. I definitely plan to bring more of my clothing to her and highly recommend her services.

WARNING!! If there is a ZERO rating thats what I would give her, very rude to deal with and rushed my wedding dress alteration! Jagged stitches and charged me $600 for a crap job, please do not take your wedding dress to her. There are better options in town. See photos below of how she jaggedly cut my laces, halfway stitched it and my dress was covered in dog hair. Oh just read her reply to this, read between the lines future brides. She might have been great before in what she does but not anymore. I had a few friends highly recommend this place for dress alterations, and they did not disappoint. I brought in my bridesmaid dress because it was too long and a bit loose around my waist. Lupe helped me and she was so sweet and helpful! They hemmed the dress to the exact length I wanted and double-checked it with me before I left to make sure it was perfect. They also took in the waist, and when I picked it up the fit was amazing. It fits me like a glove now. The turnaround time was great and communication was clear when it was ready for pickup. I’m so happy with the results and would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing dress alterations or hemming.

Amazing experience, just picked up my prom dress, the lady at the front is very nice, professional. Prices are reasonable, ordered on monday and had about two inches taken off for 50 bucks and it's Thursday amazing how quickly they work. Best yet I literally picked it up almost last minute and they were still open which was a lifesaver, since I almost forgot.

I used Joy services last year and I got a post not the best place to go to get your alterations done. She's not very approachable in my opinion and when she had given me a quote to ultra my dress when I came, I agreed with two a point and when I came back, she changed the quote and it was more so I really don't appreciate that. I found a very very nice lady by MLK Junior Park. She works out of her home way better.

❌ ⚠️ BEWARE ⚠️ ❌ I paid $51.00 to have 3 pairs of dress shortened and when I put one of the pairs on for work it was still so long it was dragging on the floor beneath my shoes. I tried the other two pairs on and they were both too long. I was in disbelief that they missed the mark by so many inches. I called in they said bring them back. Once I arrived I was spoke to so rude and blamed in EVERY way possible by the son. He explained I must’ve been standing crooked, he said that maybe my body has fluctuated in size during the last two days since dropping them off and last that the girl who helped me was new and again wasn’t their fault but mine. I told him that im not stupid and that I’m not buying any of the garbage he is trying to sell me and that I would just appreciate for them to reconcile their mistake. He said it wasn’t their mistake it was mine but that they would shorten my pants. Two days later I call in before I waste another 40 minutes of driving on top of the 80 I’ve already wasted and the owner told me that they haven’t touched my pants and that if I want them to shorten them any more than I will need to pay more. I was again in awe of such poor customer service, so I went down to pick up my 3 new pairs of dress pants and I was met with more hostility, disrespect and lies. The woman argued with me about what I paid even though I had the receipt and the statement on my credit card while I kept asking please just grab my pants so I can leave she kept saying no you look no you look and I kept telling her to grab my pants so that I can have this done elsewhere. Finally the son handed me my pants as the mother kept running her mouth and I left and had to go spend another $45 elsewhere to have the same pants shortened.
