This place is a scam. I would give zero stars if possible. They advertise falsely their shipping dates, leaving people in a bind when they are in need of and pay for expedited shipping. I ordered a dress in a rush for my daughter’s wedding, of which the date was impacted by an unexpected deployment. When the dress arrives a week AFTER the "guaranteed" date of arrival it looked nothing like the picture - which was delicate beading advertised and huge, unsightly beading around the collar in actuality, and didn’t include the shawl (which might could have covered some of the hideousness of the actual item) the description clearly stated was part of the order. In attempting to initiate a return, I’m informed they only return their "dress outlet collection," apparently meaning their "dress outlet brand," not the collection of brands they carry. DO NOT order from this place. They "no longer take phone calls" and customer service is limited to text and email which is answered days later.. and I’m certain the reason they stopped the phone calls is because they were seamped with angry, deceived customers. This is the most ridiculous experience I have EVER had in my life. For context, this is the first review I have ever left for anything I’ve ordered.

I’m often in need of a beautiful, fairly priced, good-quality formal gown as a recurring bridesmaid/maid of honor 😅, and I can’t recommend The Dress Outlet enough! From their incredible selection to their genuinely helpful customer service, everything is top-notch. This is actually the 5th dress I’ve purchased from them over the last 2 years, and somehow, the experience keeps getting better. At this point, I don’t even bother browsing other stores—I go straight to The Dress Outlet! Their selection, quality, and prices make them my go-to every time and I never regret it. How could I with the number of compliments that I get in their carefully crafted dresses The only minor challenge is their business hours, which can make it difficult to come in and try dresses in person. Since formal gowns can be tricky when it comes to sizing and fit, being able to try them on is definitely helpful. But aside from that, it’s an A+ experience every time! Highly recommend! ✨

A beautiful experience getting our Daughter’s prom dress today, very welcoming staff and an amazing selection of dresses to choose from in all different styles and colours. Thank you so much for your help and for letting us take the dress today as we are on vacation and wouldn’t be able to collect at a later day. We are so pleased that she has found the perfect dress! This company is the worst! I bought three dresses. Returned all three within the time limit of 7 days and asked for an exchange for one and a refund for two. They said I could not get a refund, only store credit. When I asked why they did not respond. I had to send another message and they said that yes, I could get refund for one dress but the other dress was non-refundable. I asked where in the order it said that was non-refundable bc most online places tell you, sometimes in red letter that a dress is non-refundable. Nothing. It’s been two months. I got the exchanged dress which my daughter loved for prom but I still have not gotten a refund for the one. I guess money lost on the third. Terrible customer service.

I cannot say enough good things about The Dress Outlet Los Angeles! I was in a complete panic after realizing I needed a dress for my sister’s wedding at the last minute. I placed an order on Saturday after store hours and paid for delivery by Wednesday because I was scheduled to fly to Las Vegas on Thursday morning. When I stopped by the store after work on Tuesday to check on the status of my order, I was informed that a cancellation notice had been sent earlier that morning because the original dress was unexpectedly out of stock. My heart completely sank. I was literally on the verge of tears, thinking my sister’s wedding was about to be ruined for me. Before I could even process what was happening, the incredible women at The Dress Outlet jumped into action. They immediately started pulling options, listening to what I needed, and reassuring me that they would find a solution. Not only did they find me a dress that was even more beautiful than the one I originally ordered, but it was also a more expensive gown—and they upgraded me at no additional cost. To top it all off, they included a matching bag as well! What was shaping up to be one of the most stressful days imaginable turned into one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had. Their kindness, professionalism, compassion, and commitment to making sure I left happy went far beyond anything I expected. In a world where great customer service can be hard to find, The Dress Outlet Los Angeles truly exceeded every expectation. They didn’t just sell me a dress—they saved the day.
