Lockers are all taken up by 4am when I arrive. There's hardly any people working out but we still have no lockers to put our stuff into also showers need to get scrubbed down and power washed at some point especially in the mens restroom. Also the wet suana. Other then that great place to work out lots of equipment and people come and go so it allows you to have a great workout...lockers still a massive issue even after this review management must not read reviews...

enjoy attending Zumba classes at this gym and appreciate the positive atmosphere. Maria is an outstanding instructor—always prepared, energetic, reliable, and attentive to members. It is easy to understand why so many members continue asking when she will teach again. More than 50 members signed a petition supporting Maria for an available class, and many of us spoke directly with management. Despite the strong member support, nothing changed. I also received a public response from In-Shape stating that management would contact me regarding my concerns. Three months later, I have never received the promised follow-up or any explanation. This review is not intended to criticize Jocelyn, who is also a good instructor. However, she already teaches many classes, and many members would appreciate a more balanced distribution of classes so other qualified instructors, such as Maria, also have opportunities to teach. As paying members, we simply want our voices to be heard. We hope In-Shape improves communication and gives greater consideration to member feedback.

I would not recommend In-Shape swim lessons to anyone. Especially not the classes during 4:15 pm with REN or the other two instructors there. Girl in red hair and the older lady in grey hair. Our experience has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. The staff has been unprofessional, disorganized, and dismissive of legitimate concerns. We paid for swim lessons expecting qualified instruction and a consistent schedule, but instead we've dealt with instructors not showing up, late starts, and a complete lack of communication. When we raised our concerns, management (James) was not helpful and made us feel like our time and money didn't matter. Rather than trying to resolve the situation or offer make-up lessons for the missed instruction, our concerns were brushed aside. To make matters worse, some of the instructors rolled their eyes and displayed unprofessional attitudes when we simply asked for the services we had already paid for. Parents invest in swim lessons because water safety is important, and families deserve reliable instruction and respectful customer service. Unfortunately, our experience at In-Shape has been the exact opposite. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for swim lessons!!

I really have nothing but good experiences here I’m always motivated they offer so much things that you can use. I think it’s a good place. If you wanna get in shape to go there, there’s all types of people from skinny too thick all ages really you can feel comfortable with whatever you wanna do even boxing. I just think it’s a great place and I love it. I won’t go nowhere else.

I’ve been a member at In-Shape Victorville for a while, and I think it’s time for some honest feedback. The facility is starting to show its age and could really use some attention. The locker rooms, restrooms, and showers need a deep cleaning and more consistent maintenance. There are times when the restrooms and shower areas have an unpleasant odor, which takes away from the overall experience. Another issue is the lockers. They always seem to be occupied, making it difficult for members to find available space during busy hours. My biggest concern is the steam room. One of the main reasons I maintain my membership is because of the steam room, but it seems to be out of service far too often. The problem appears to be members manually interfering with the thermostat system. I’ve visited other In-Shape locations that have clear signs posted instructing members not to pour cold water on the thermostat or manually restart the system. Those locations seem to have fewer issues. A simple sign at the entrance explaining proper steam room use could prevent a lot of these breakdowns. I even suggested this to staff and was told corporate approval was needed just to post a notice. Hopefully management can find a way to address this because it would save both members and staff a lot of frustration. Overall, the gym has great potential, but it needs some refreshing. New paint, updated facilities, better maintenance, and more attention to cleanliness would go a long way toward making members feel proud to be here. I want this location to succeed, but it feels like it’s overdue for some much-needed improvements.
