Convenient—but you'll pay for that convenience. Parking is 50-percent off on Monday through Thursday with a $25 purchase at a Ghirardelli Square shop or restaurant Parking is tight and so are the turns to exit the garage, so if you are driving a larger vehicle, be prepared for some close calls.

It's the most expensive parking I my life. They charged $18 for 2 hours of parking. I paid more money for parking than eating their world famous hot fudge sundae. Also this place doesn't have so much to offer when the main thing to do is purchase chocolates or eat their sundaes. Better do street parking or avoid this place all together. Not sure why it is such a hyped tourist spot.

Machine wasn’t working and wouldn’t let people out. Line of 10 cars, 25 minute wait. Employee was on help phone but hung up on the guy. When security finally came to help it had been so long that the system double charged everyone. Bush league operation.

I googled Ghirardelli parking. Google took me to SpotHero and ParkWhiz. I already had ParkWhiz so I chose that and paid. When we drove in, we tried scanning the QR code and the machine spit out a ticket. When we left the restaurant and tried to check out by the elevator, it said we owed $. I tried scanning the QR code again. It gave us a green checkmark and said you are all set. When we got to the exit, the machine said we owed $ again. I had to call the phone # of the guy onsite for help. It was a massive SNAFU. I will never use ParkWhiz for this lot again, and I'll probably never park there again either.

Parking drive path is narrow. For sedan and small size SUVs it is ok to drive. For big size SUVs better to avoid this parking. Because it is too narrow and chances of hitting wall are high..
