TutorNerds

I needed to find a biology tutor for my daughter, and I didn’t know where to start. I started doing Google searches around my area, but couldn’t exactly find a good, suitable tutor. I decided to look for the Irvine region as I lived there in the past and as I didn’t mind virtual tutor sessions for my daughter. I know how great the education there is. I had a consultation call with Adam and Brandy, letting them know what type of tutor I’m looking for. Within an hour, they sent me information about this qualified tutor, Nicole. I was able to interview Nicole beforehand, and TutorNerds was kind enough to give first class as a complimentary service as part of their guarantee policy. Nicole is such a wonderful tutor; my daughter is learning a lot from her. Since then, whenever any academic or extracurricular projects come up, I contact TutorNerds first, and they always have a great tutor who can help my daughter. Thank you, Adam and Brandy! You guys are so nice and helpful! I decided to write this review as I know there are parents who are looking for great tutors for their kids. If you guys are looking for a tutor, look no further. TutorNerds is excellent.

My 9th grader was struggling with accelerated geometry when I reached out to TutorNerds. The response was almost immediate and after a quick dialog, we were partnered with Jacky to meet with my son virtually. They've worked together 4 to 5 times per month for the past 3 months and his grade has improved to a B. Jacky made the material easy to understand and created practice questions to help prepare for tests. Working virtually versus in person provided the flexibility we needed and met the needs of our son. We are extremely happy with the results and would highly recommend TutorNerds and Jacky specifically to anyone who is struggling or needs additional help.

Our tutor Joey from TutorNerds has been amazing tutoring my son in AP Psychology. Before Joey, my son was really struggling in the class and getting frustrated with tests. Joey was able to help simplifying the curriculum where my son fully understands it. He was getting 90s on tests and feeling really confident in the class. We are so lucky Adam put Joey as our tutor.

I have been using Tutornerds for math and physics for about a year and these sessions have been a great help to my learning and understanding. My tutor Jacky is extremely helpful and patient as he has several ways to explain certain topics. Before starting my sessions with Jacky, I was struggling in my physics class; however shortly after beginning my session with him, my confidence and grades rose significantly. I am truley grateful for Jacky's help.

Lacey has been so helpful over the time she’s been my tutor. My math grade is the highest it’s ever been, and she is genuinely so helpful with homework and questions.

Just started sessions with Amy after working with other tutors and the experience has been great. My son noted that she is engaging, keeping him focused with the opportunity to learn. She is organized and prepares for each session in advance. We are so glad to have crossed paths and have her as our tutor!

I had tutoring sessions with Matin Ghalambor, a physics tutor, and I was able to learn more about physics and get more confident in myself. He was very knowledgeable and helped me understand basics of physics in the easiest way possible. He's very patient even though I had very little physics background. I passed my class with an A!! Over all, I love my experience there and would be using it again for sure. It's very much worth the money you put in and I recommend TutorNerds!!
