I actually went to the estate planning seminar because I wanted to learn about getting a living trust done. I wasn't expecting to learn much about my retirement accounts. They started talking about RMDs and I realized I was taking money out of my IRA every year but didn't really understand why, how the amount was determined, or what it was doing to my taxes. That was enough for me to make an appointment. I sat down with Rolando Recinos, Joshua Patrick and Mackenzie Alexander and they went through everything with me. They looked at my retirement accounts, what I was taking out, how my money was invested, and how much I actually needed each month. They also explained how all of that tied back into my estate plan. What I liked was they didn't talk over my head. If I didn't understand something, they explained it again until I did. I never felt embarrassed asking questions and never felt pressured to make a decision. I went in thinking we were going to talk about my trust and ended up learning a lot about my retirement too. Definitely worth making the appointment.

I spoke with Omar, who is actually really easy to talk to. I’m almost 40 so thinking about the "what’s next" part of my life is a tough pill to swallow, but the perspective he gives you makes you feel way more comfortable doing it. It helps that he was able to help with rolling over an old 401k but they provide an end to end solution for any financial advice you’d need. There aren’t enough stars to give, but highly recommend him and the entire staff (incredibly nice people) for anything you’d need.
