I wish I could give this place 6/5 stars. I work in healthcare and this has been the most impressive place I have been. Going to a fertility center always brings anxiety and they made me feel so comfortable. They remembered so many details including my friend’s name (who came with me to appointments) and my occupation. I’ve never seen such attention to detail from an entire care team. They never made me feel bad for asking too many questions or answering questions I had from my own research. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to get fertility care.
NCFMC has been nothing short of amazing to me. From the first appointment, they got me in within a week for a consultation with Dr. Murray. The Nurses have all been easy to speak to and efficient. Dr. Murray is a wonderful doctor. He really listened to my concerns and provided me the best treatment plan with a back up plan if needed. I’m grateful for him and his team.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I have to give the biggest shoutout to OR Nurse Danielle and Care Coordinator Kaitlyn at Northern California Fertility. They are the heartbeat of this process and have made such a difference in my experience. Danielle has been unbelievable — calm, confident, and so comforting during the hardest and scariest parts. From prepping for retrieval to talking me through every step in the OR, she brought a level of compassion and reassurance I didn’t even realize I needed. She’s the kind of nurse who makes you feel safe, seen, and genuinely cared for — not rushed or overlooked. And Kaitlyn, my care coordinator, has been my guide since day one. She’s the one answering questions, coordinating schedules, sending reminders, and helping me make sense of meds, appointments, and next steps. She makes everything feel manageable — even when my brain is spinning from information overload. Between Danielle’s bedside comfort and Kaitlyn’s organization and support, I feel like I have my own personal IVF dream team. This clinic has many wonderful people — but these two deserve a special spotlight. Forever grateful for them both. 💕🩺🌈
My husband and I first went to NCFMC in 2020. We were diagnosed with unexplained infertility after TTC for 8 years. Since this time we had our son born in November 2021 and our daughter in May 2024. Both were frozen embryo transfers after successfully doing IVF. I’m so thankful to God for answering our prayers through guiding us to choose treatment through NCFMC. We are currently heading to do our 3rd embryo transfer!
Dr. Murray is always courteous and an excellent listener. He demonstrates strong competence and always knows exactly what he is doing. As a returning patient, I have complete confidence in his methodical approach to my care. He has shown genuine compassion toward me, and I have never felt dismissed or unheard. I highly recommend him and have already referred several friends to him. Assistant Val was incredibly compassionate and understanding, especially knowing I don’t have the best insurance coverage. I truly appreciate how the team handled the labs they ordered—they adjusted the billing codes to help ensure my insurance wouldn’t deny the claims. Val was patient, kind, and genuinely sympathetic to my situation. The clinic went out of their way to work with me and find ways to offset my costs. I really felt cared for and supported—thank you so much!
Dr. Generao was fantastic before, during & after my procedure. I'm a 55 year old male that had a vasectomy when I was 40. I have a very young wife.. She put me back together & now I have a beautiful 9 month baby girl 👶. Thank you Dr for you & your staff. David
My husband and I ultimately had a successful IUI cycle and are incredibly grateful that we became pregnant on our first attempt. The doctors were kind, knowledgeable, and supportive throughout the actual treatment process. However, our experience leading up to treatment was frustrating and, at times, felt disorganized and poorly communicated. When I was first referred to the clinic in October, I was told we would likely be able to begin an IUI cycle the following month. However, when I called on cycle day one, I was informed that I was missing required bloodwork. After several conversations and delays, I learned that I needed to have the testing ordered through my primary care physician. This information was never clearly communicated from the beginning, which resulted in additional delays and pushed our treatment timeline back by several weeks. Another issue involved genetic testing. We were not adequately informed about the cost and that insurance doesn’t cover this testing. We later learned that Natera’s self-pay option would have cost under $500, after receiving a bill for approximately $13,000. I strongly encourage future patients to ask detailed questions about pricing before proceeding with testing from both the clinic and your primary care. After completing the required bloodwork, we were prepared to begin treatment in December. We were then informed that, due to insurance requirements and timing restrictions, we would not be able to start that month unless my cycle began before a specific date. When my cycle did begin before that date, I was subsequently notified that I was missing a required vaccine, resulting in yet another delay. January brought additional insurance-related issues that were not the clinic’s fault, but by the time everything was finally resolved, we were unable to begin treatment until February. We were thankful to finally move forward and were fortunate to become pregnant after our first IUI. However, another concern arose regarding billing. We paid our copay and the remaining balance that we were told insurance would not cover. Months later, after reviewing our insurance claims, I discovered that our insurance had actually covered approximately 99% of the procedure. When I contacted the clinic regarding a refund, I was told that while they perform periodic audits, patients are responsible for calling and identifying billing discrepancies themselves. That response was disappointing. Patients undergoing fertility treatment are already dealing with significant emotional, physical, and financial stress. I believe the clinic should be more proactive in identifying and refunding overpayments rather than relying on patients to discover them on their own. While I appreciate the expertise and kindness of the physicians, the administrative process, communication, and billing experience left much to be desired. Fertility treatment is an emotional and vulnerable journey, and unfortunately, I often felt like just another patient rather than someone being guided through a complex process. Although we are grateful for our successful outcome, I would not personally recommend this clinic based on our overall experience.
