Prime Pulmonary & Sleep Center

I was referred to this clinic by my primary doctor and I must say this was an amazing experience. I had my appointment on June 3rd. I got there and I was called within 10 minutes to filled out paperwork. Then, I was called to speak to a doctor. It was pretty quick. Dr. Sandu was great. She asked me questions related to my sleep. I was scheduled to go on July 12th. For my surprise I got a call from the clinic at 2:46pm and I was told that someone had cancelled so they told me I could go in to do my test I agree and when I got there with my husband check in was quick. I got to my room where Abby was kind, professional and very nice. She answered all my questions explained all the procedure. The room was clean, bed and pillows very comfortable with AC and TV. I really recommend this clinic. Everything was very easy to get checked in and Abby was great. This for me was an amazing experience. Even though I was nervous at the beginning. Abby made me feel comfortable I had a really nice sleep even though I had lots of cables on. Very happy to have done this test in this great clinic.

I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment and was checked into a room around 2:09 PM. After that, I waited over an hour without seeing a doctor or nurse. I eventually had to walk out and ask what was going on, and I was simply told they were busy and still had another patient ahead of me. The lack of communication, time management, and consideration for patients was extremely disappointing. Overall, a very frustrating experience.

Plan an extra hr around your appt. We have never been seen on time -common in Dr offices- but this office doesn't even check you in until +20mins after scheduled appt… this doesn't include the +30min wait times in the back. EVEN WORSE - I have NEVER received a callback. Not for questions, appt confirmations, referral f/ups, or anything else needed, despite them promising a 48hr time period. Unfortunately Bakersfield is limited in availability and we cannot successfully find a new place….currently writing this from the lobby @2:13p still waiting to be called( appt was for 1:30p!!!) Edited to add - @2:36 and STILL waiting to be seen.

Impossible to get Office Manager to do her job.She will NOT ever call back patients with resolutions or updates. Consequently, Dr has no idea of patients needs or issues. Thousands of $$ spent on Inspire apnea device for no positive results thus far. Very poor experience with device, Dr. and staff

Had an 8:15 am appointment and it is now approaching 9:30am and I still haven’t been seen yet! What is the purpose of scheduling an appointment a few months out and not being able to be seen in a timely matter.

Apparently there is only one person entrusted with making the kind of appointment I need to make. I have been waiting for three days for a call back to make this appointment. Spent more than a collective half hour on hold. I still don’t have the necessary appointment. How does this pass as patient care?

This is a good pulmonary office. The staff are friendly and I like Dr. Vaghasia. I have two downsides though, one the wait times are long, and two, they don’t have a treadmill for the 6 minute walk and makes me feel ridiculous having to walk up and down in a hall. Get a treadmill please!
