Sal's Mexican Restaurant - Selma

I had the carne asada bowl and hands down it was THE BEST!!! I felt very welcome and at home at Sal’s. Would recommend to anyone that comes through town!

We had a wonderful experience tonight. The food was yummy, and the service amazing! Thank you to Randi and to Mando for taking such good care of us and making our evening so.much fun!

We used to love them but things have changed of course. I will not pay $22.00 for a Steve Burger! Check your "to-go" orders carefully before leaving. When they are busy they tend to forget part of the orders or give you something you didn’t order. Also rice & bean portions got way smaller on "to-go" orders. Ya priced me out Sal, no mas.

I was there introducing my step son to the place. Took many months to finally make it here. I couldn't decide what to get because I already knew how good the Chile Verdi was, but it wanted the beans, cheese and a chile relleno, so that's what I got. The Chile reliant was amazing along with everything else. Mike got the burrito bowl with carne asada, adding cheese, and said it was amazing, and he needs to bring his wife. Hopefully it won't take so long to get back there.

Where do I start. Let's start with the greeter, when my family of 4 came into the restaurant we were met with amazing hosts. Than we were seated less than 5 minutes, however it took them about 15 minutes to come back and take my family orders. When our waiter comes to take our order, she was very professional.She got our order, correct.And I mean, all of our order. Sal's Mexican Restaurant is a 4 out of 6 for me. Now here's the con about this restaurant.The cook need to not put so much sodium in his salsa for his chips..

Plenty of food, attentive staff & friendly. A different kind of Vegetable Burrito: Large one stuffed with cabbage, potato, carrots and beans. No cheese. Could take a few spices so it does not taste bland but works fine with salsa and chips. Busy place. recongnized locally. Quick, efficient operation.

Got the chile verde burrito their specialty, it was a hearty authentic burrito. Happy. Would order again, it’s big. Also, chips and salsa were awesome. Salsa has a kick. 🌶️
