Prestin Ravid | Architects

Working with Prestin Ravid Architects on our home addition and renovation has been amazing. Navigating the City of Palo Alto’s complex permit process could have been stressful, but Eyal and his team made it smooth and enjoyable. With Eyal’s extensive experience, his strategic, efficient approach and clear communication helped us get our permit in about half the expected time. His designs are thoughtful, detail-oriented, and perfectly balance aesthetics and practicality. Highly recommend!

Choosing to work with Eyal as our architect was easily one of the best decisions we made in our home renovation project. Not only was he extremely responsive and thorough in addressing our questions and capturing details in construction plans, but he also took the time to understand what our vision was and provided invaluable suggestions and recommendations. He was a true partner from the development of the construction plans, to getting our permits approved, to even helping us understand how to approach the numerous decisions needed (appliances, flooring, trim, kitchen cabinets, etc.) - Eyal went above and beyond to help us navigate everything . As first time homebuyers navigating a process that can be daunting at times, we're so grateful that we worked with Eyal and his team - highly, highly recommend!!

I recently hired Eyal to work on my daughter’s renovation project. We like the Prestin Ravid full-service A, B, and C phases approach. After reviewing the Google feedback from Eyal’s clients, we decided to hire Eyal. Eyal is a very talented architect and easy to work with. We are very happy with his design. I would highly recommend Eyal for your architectural needs.

When we decided to venture on our home addition project in Los Gatos we must have interviewed a dozen architects. We chose to work with Eyal and team and couldn't be happier with our decision. We're moving in this month and are incredibly satisfied with the result! At our first meeting after signing Eyal prepared multiple layout plans for us to choose from, and even created 3D renderings for us to be able to visualize them. He thought of things we’d never be able to imagine, like the various angles of the vaulted ceiling, where and how many lights we should install, etc. He was very receptive to feedback and helped incorporate our never ending stream of ideas into the plans. Afterwards he compiled the plans into a packet to be submitted to the city for permits. After the city approved the permits we opted for Eyal to continue working with us through construction. He ended up being a lifesaver because we encountered numerous unforeseen issues. We realized at the end that a home addition project is a series of difficult and permanent decisions, and having a professional like Eyal is a huge resource to rely on to ease that burden. Overall, Eyal was all that we could have asked for in an architect. He was fast, knowledgable, and thoroughly detailed oriented. Our house is our biggest investment and we’re glad we picked somebody who could help us elevate it!

We purchased our home with the intention of adding a second story, which was a decision that we knew meant major renovations and planning. We spent 2 years planning and searching for an Architect and Builder that we felt like we could trust and partner with. Working with Eyal is the best choice we could have made!! He listened to our vision and ideas, added in recommendations that I hadn't thought of, maintained the visual look and feel I was going for, and truly cares about the people who will live in the spaces he designs. It's been such a pleasure to work with him and it's taken so much of the stress out of this project. I honestly don't think we would have gone through with the build if we hadn't met him. If you're looking for an architect I couldn't recommend Eyal more.

Eyal was wonderful to work with! This was my first remodel and he was patient with all my questions and requests. He has a clear understanding of design and can guide you through each step of the way for any space that you need help creating. He has a great team, is reliable, and always responsive. Highly recommend him and his team for any project!

Working with Eyal has been an absolute pleasure! From day one, he has been client-minded, unbelievably responsive, and incredibly thoughtful. He goes above and beyond, keeping us informed, guiding us through every step, and always being mindful of our budget. We immediately felt confident in his expertise and professionalism. Before working with Eyal, we interviewed more than 20 architects and plan-build firms, and even tried working with a plan-build firm. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the right fit—their transparency and expertise fell short, and they didn’t have a licensed architect. Returning to Eyal was the best decision we could have made. He personally measured our house, identified discrepancies between public records and the actual square footage, and proactively clarified everything with the City of Palo Alto, saving us time, stress, and potential surprises. He also helped streamline the permit process so we could submit for both Planning and Building Permits simultaneously. Eyal’s dedication, attention to detail, and excellent communication make the entire process smooth and enjoyable. He patiently answers all our questions—even our long list—without ever skipping a detail, provides guidance at every step, and will continue supporting us through contractor selection and the full project. His expertise is worth every penny, and we feel confident our project will be a success thanks to him. We are almost ready to submit our plans to the City and are excited to continue the project. We highly recommend Eyal to anyone looking for a skilled, caring, and professional architect—you will not regret it!
